Replaced and old HP Pavilion, worked first time out of the box. Only item is the built in wifi. Computer placed in the same location as the previous one . I had the old computer connected using a Net-Dyn usb plug in and it was faster with downloads. Not sure if there is a way to disable the built in wifi and try my old plug in.
My son was gaming on a good laptop but getting 30FPS and always getting beat. With the new HP Pavillion TG01-2176z PC he's getting 300 to 500 FPS and leveled up 3 times in a week. I barely know what any of that means, but it's easy to see he's REALLY happy about it. Great buy and at a great price.
This PC does have great features, however the storage information is not accurate. Product description states that it includes 500gb SSD AND a 1tb hdd. First pc did not include such storage. Exchanged pc for a new machine and the second machine still did not have the included storage. I honestly wouldn't have purchased this pc if it didn't have that additional storage. Overall this is a decent system but I do not recommend this specific model.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the first a month ago. It was sent without the second hard drive installed. Sent back for replacement. Recieved second computer and it is also missing the second hard drive. Now have to send back again. No offers to make this up to me in any way.
This desktop is incredibly fast and responsive -- when it works.
This pc runs games really well and displays webpages with ease -- until it randomly freezes on you from out of nowhere, causing you to have to turn it off then on then off then on then off then on by holding down the power button.
This computer streams video in gorgeous 4k resolution with a single problem -- until the graphics card decides once or twice per hour that it doesn't want to recognize the HDMI port and stops sending a signal to your TV no matter what cable you're using or the TV you're plugging into.
Look, this computer could've been great, and I mean GREAT, but there are huge issues that mean you should skip this one entirely and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.
