HEIGH10 for the win!

Adding Android Auto to my 2014 Silverado was simple with the HEIGH10. PAC did an amazing job on the kit to flush mount it! I have kept from doing an upgrade for years because every solution was a cut and replace. I wanted to be able to slide the factory radio back in should i ever need to, this was the solution and a great one! Having everything from the factory controls work is amazing and perfect!

I added roku to play from glove box and 2019 2500 silverado sounds better and now I can add 5 channel amp to speakers and sub box. Also able to run 4 cameras for towing.

Love the screen and Apple CarPlay and all other parts of the system. Definitely not a fan of the rats nest of wires though. System could definitely have a choice to only wire what is on the truck and not have all wires for every little thing. Not sure if it’s just my truck but I’ve also been experiencing some issues with my reverse camera that is stock to the truck but at least the parking sensor still work.

Honestly this stinger product is built well, and has the POTENTIAL to be an awesome addition to your stereo. However it has a bunch of quirks.
1. The rats nest of wiring behind the unit is ungodly. So many abandoned wires and ends that have no use (for specific vehicles)
2. For some reason, this unit has sensitivity to cold climates. It won’t turn on if it’s not warm. When it is warm enough, you have to use the little reset button and also press the center button for it to turn on. Typically 20-30 minutes after the vehicles been running. (2015 duramax chevrolet)
3. It won’t display your climate fan level.
4. The video quality out of the cameras is pretty mid.
5. If you’re not using Apple play, the display is cheesy, not high definition by any means, and everything’s “foggy” as in, low quality.
Aside from these quirks. This unit DOES provide a great amount of customizability for your stereo system. It really covers all the bases in that department. I will say I’ve owned quite a few head units and this one produces the highest quality sound yet. I do really like the fit and finish. Adds a ton of flavor to the front interior of my Chevy. Overall, I’d give this product a 5-1/2 out of 10. The quirks really make it hard to justify keeping this. If they could produce an update for the software, and perhaps clean up the rear a bit, I’d be a lot happier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I installed it in my 2015 chevy z71 , in all it's a great upgrade aftermarket radio to my factory radio the install went fine no problem on the install great fit , everything work fine , in my opinion for the price the sd card for nav should have come with the package and the sd card price is steep as well but for some one that had to pay to install the radio the location of the sd card is in a poor location to have to remove the whole unit to update the sd card was not thought in the design process and costly for the person who has to pay someone to remove the unit to update the nav sd card could have been located on the display unit for easy access but other than that great unit in quality and installation process other wis i would have been all stars
I would recommend this to a friend!
