Early days but chips well

We have chipped about a cubic yard of branches and now have a pile of chips. Nothing jammed and the pieces all seem to be smaller than an inch. There is a setting for different sizes and we haven’t played with that. Very narrow, soft branches and leaves don’t really get chopped so they just get put on the compost. Our goals are to reduce volume, improve composting and have some mulch. It works for those goals. Of course it is noisy but not as loud as I expected. It is quite light to move around plus the wheels help. It is not very large. I recommend this. It’s a cheap alternative to buying mulch and keeps our yard much tidier. It does have a reverse button ..if something starts to stick you can reverse it.
