Great little unit. Not meant for large debris or branches. But does a great job with the smaller/ cleanup stuff. I recommend this product for the homeowner with lots of tree, brush, bush cleanup.
Purchased after study of chipper-shredders, had good reviews. Great price value with fast order processing and free shipping. Easy to assemble and use. Has a robust chipper mechanism that is self feeding and superior to other makes. Quiet and efficient. I highly recommend this Sunjoe chipper.
The SunJoe 603e is really easy to use, it performs perfectly and after having made several cubic yards of chipped branches and used it as mulch on our landscaping beds we do not see any degradation in its performance. In fact aside from getting rid of those branches, we probably have paid for this device once already not having to buy mulch. This is the best garden power tool we have purchased and strongly recommend it.

I've only used it a few times and I'm glad I bought it. Easy to set up. Works best on dried branches and twigs, including dried palm fronds. Low to moderate motor and chipping noise level. Satisfactory safety protection. Easy to maneuver. Sometimes the exhaust chute gets clogged up when chipping leafy palm fronds. Need to monitor chips as they exit the machine. Wood chips are small. Great value.

Great tool, within expectations

I've worked with chippers small and large on job sites, and I knew this would be significantly different. It's not just a half step or so down from a gas engine powered chipper. That said, it performed great. The drier the better, and some plants were very problematic, like holly. Scotch broom was hit and miss. It turned a rather large pile of yard waste (mostly holly and scotch broom) into a full yard waste bin. At the rate we'd been filling the bin, without this chipper, it would be 10-12 more bin loads (and 20-24 weeks) before the pile was gone. The pile is now gone. Starting on the next pile. The only complaint I have is the ejection slot seems to get stuffed and jam up quite a bit. I'm watching it, and shutting off the chipper, when I need to clear it.
