Excellent Pressure Washer

This is an excellent pressure washer - it puts out good pressure with reasonable volume plus it's very quiet compared to my old Simoniz. I bought the HD fitting (SPX-BSC) and water leaked everywhere as did it when I replaced that inlet connector with the standard one that comes with the pressure washer. The fitting was not being pulled tight enough to seal.
I bought a new garden hose that has a lot of threads on the male end in order that the connection is pulled tight to seal, a hose with only a thread or two of engagement won't seal and water will come pouring out behind the hose connection.
It was advertised to come with the brass connector....It didnt. I didnt notice since the connector was so cute. It broke. I didnt realize it till the next using season. This is where and how the rating goes down..... the service was slow and repetitive and infuriating. If they would have supplied the brass fitting as advertised I would be giving it a 5 star rating. Make sure when you unpack it that it has the brass fitting instead of the cute little plastic flower looking hose fitting!
Coming up from a 3000 I can definitely notice an increase in the pressure generated by the 3500. But more gratifyingly, the higher pressure comes with lower pump noise and vibration, which makes a long session more tolerable thanks to the different pump design.
The only issue for me (and admittedly it is noted on the machine) is that the 3500 requires more juice out of the circuit than the 3000 did and I found several of my usual outdoor plugs would trip at the mains. Not dangerous but unusable. Luckily I found a few that had a minimal load and they worked fine. I needed to purchase a (not recommended) extension cord so I made sure the extension could carry the 15 amp load. Worked great.

I used this product about 15 times for my porch, patio. It suddenly stopped working few days ago. I disconnected the gun, hose everything. It still doesn’t turn on. Tried contacting Sun joe but it takes forever to talk to someone. Hung up a couple of times .. Love the product but I’m disappointed with its longevity
it did a really good job on my wood deck.... I am not impressed with the scrubber attachment, (it probably isnt worth the money) but the 2300 psi was worth the extra money. It is very heavy for a 73 year old woman . I almost wish it had 4 wheels instead of 2. But I figured it out and put it together by myself so I am giving it a 5 star rating. The higher psi you can afford the better and I didnt want to go for a gas powered unit because that is just too complicated for someone on their own. I will have to get someone to store it away for the winter and then get it out in the spring but other than that it is really effective....... I wonder if the wash is even worth using since it is so effective
I've used the washer 3 or 4 times and it has plenty of pressure and the variety of nozzles and the ease of switching them is nice. But, it does leak every time I use it and that causes the unit to cycle on and off maintaining pressure, which is annoying. I tried using white wrap tape but even a small drip will cause it to cycle back on.
This pressure washer has the sound of power and the every component has the look and feel of quality. There is well-designed storage for the power cord and the high pressure hose. With most of the weight at the bottom of the unit, tip-over is very unlikely. There is a foot pedal at the bottom of the unit to help tip it when you are ready to move it. The included five tips for the wand are all you might ever need for any job you have in mind. Since there is a place to store the high pressure hose, I don't feel that the SPX3501 with a reel at the top for this hose is necessary and might make the machine a little top-heavy. I have every confidence in the quality and the likelihood of a long life for this product, especially since it comes with a brushless motor, but I purchased the additional 3-year warranty anyway. It comes at a very good price and this gives me peace of mind for a full five years. Some cheaper and less well-made washers will not come close to lasting this long before some type of catastrophic failure. This is the electric pressure washer to get!
