Order the SPX3001 on Monday, it shipped Tuesday and I recieved it Wednesday. Used it twice on concrete garage floor, sidewalk, siding and wood deck. More than satisfied with the results. There is a learning curve to get the best results I was suprize how well just the spray works not using any detergent to clean the siding and gutters. great buy for the money. It works!

I’ve used this pressure washer several times and it worked great! Tonight I decided to tackle a little project with it. This would be the third time I’ve used it. I connected everything and it worked fine for about 60 seconds and then it sounded like the pump was locking up or not getting water. I got irritated. I checked the hose. I had plenty of water pressure going into it. There were no kinks. I disconnected the hose from the pressure washer but still had the hose connected to the green and silver filter screen. Everything looked great. I decided there had to be a problem with the pressure washer. I looked online and couldn’t really find any similar problems so I called sunjoe support. Of course I was the 3rd caller in line. I pushed 1 to have support call me back. I didn’t think they would call me back so I decided to take a look again. I was prepared to dismantle the entire unit if I had to. I disconnected the hose again but this time I took the filter adapter off the hose. I immediately found the problem. My 4 year old son thought it would be fun to shove small leaves into the end of the hose. All of these leaves were pressed against the sunjoe filter restricted the unit from getting water. I removed the leaves and it worked great again. While removing the leaves sunjoe support called me back. I didn’t answer because I was too embarrassed at the problem. Great product! I wish I would have taken a picture of all the leaves stuffed into the end of the hose.

I bought one several years ago to clean off my wooden deck. I have since used it for cleaning the brick and trim on my house. I love the ease of use so much that I bought one for my daughter who lives on a heavily wooded lot like myself. She used it on an outdoor carpet and pillows that were so bad with green growth she was going to toss them. Now they look like new! She is also pleased with the ease of operation. I just noticed my toolshed has green growing up the side, and it will be gone today in a matter of minutes with my trusty powerwasher!

It doesn’t matter if your just doing stuff around the house or finishing a project at work, this is truly the best one out there , it’s so sufficient and work well with all projects I had going on, I didn’t want to stop using it , because it was that easy to use and does an incredible job so happy with this pressure washer

Cheep hose reel

I would love this machine if I could reel the hose up without using one had to turn the hub while reeling the hub with the handle. I emailed support and they said to take it apart and spray WD 40 on it. I’m a pretty good do it yourself guy and I have no idea how it would come apart. Also WD40 is a bandaid and not a fix.

Great pressure washer - terrible hose reel

I really like this pressure washer. It does a great job on light around the house projects. I have used it to clean cars, brick, sidewalks, and driveway. It does a good job. I also bought the rotating tip and it did good on the driveway and sidewalks. I still used the yellow tip for more stubborn areas and it cleaned up nicely.
The biggest issue I have with the unit is the reel. It is more of a problem than a solution for me. It makes the overall light unit very top heavy and the handle has broken due to it falling over when using the wand. They sent a replacement, but it, too, got loose. I replaced the screw with a nut and bolt so it stays on. But I have to hold the handle while unspooling the hose because it gets caught on the housing.
I would love to rate this higher, but I would NOT purchase this unit again. I would opt for a similar unit without the reel.
Unit itself, without the reel, 4+ stars.
