Great phone

This is the best cell phone that I've ever owned and I've pretty much owned them all. My previous favorite was the 3XL and this is an improvement of that model. I hope Google continues to do phones

Returning

Switched to the Pixel 3 from iPhone a few years back and loved it. Upgraded to the Pixel 6 as the 3 is no longer receiving updates and have never hated a phone so much. As others have said, the fingerprint sensor doesn't work, the battery life is terrible, and the calls constantly drop. However my biggest issue is the size of the phone. It's way too big. As a mom constantly holding a baby in one arm being able to use a phone with one hand is a non-negotiable. Returning this and looking at the 4 or 5.

upgrade or downgrade
on December 19, 2021

i thought i was upgrading from my pixel 4 to a pixel 6 ot is clear now it was a downgrade. although there are some features that are amazing such as the beautiful camera a video capabilities, the voice to text, and refresh rate. the phone feels dumber then the pixelbto generations ago. the assistant is buggy to say the least. problems such as it not understanding simple comands such as call john. also the new always listening deal is just awful the squeeze the bottom feature being removed is awful, and it uploads much slower then its predecessor. i was so excited for this phone to release waited a month and a half for it to be delivered only to open a huge pile of crap. thanks for nothing google you really let me down on this one

Good choice for new phone

The battery life is amazing!! Takes great pictures with vivid colors! Only downfall is how slippery it is. Definitely need a phone case to give it extra grip. I've never been a big fan of putting calls on speaker, but I can't hold it between my ear and shoulder without it slipping off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Phone Capable of Everything - But Calls....
on December 19, 2021

Had Pixel 6 a week now and signal too poor for calls in many areas - including my home. Waiting for the Dec update to see if it provides any improvement. Not sure at this point if Google has paused roll out or if it hasn't gotten to me yet. There are a lot of impressive things going on with this phone, but I may wind up regretting making the Samsung>Pixel switch. It could wind up as my all time favorite at the end of the day, but cannot recommend or give a good rating at this time.
