Everything can always improve. But all around I find it to be a great phone! Finding cases sucks here and there but I've been perfectly fine without a case since I've bought it.
I have had a pixel phone for a while, my kids are iPhone-ers and I've always been an Android person along with my husband. I like the pixel because it's right in the middle of both types. It's camera capabilities are literally OUTSTANDING!
Cannot charge battery quickly. Heavy use drained to 10%, unable to do quick recharge to at least 50%.Camera is ok. Not amazing. Group text intermittently not showing keyboard. Google maps quirky - goes to black screen intermittent. Google wallet not intuitive. Cannot quickly access loyalty cards. Would not trust Google Pay. Feels disjointed/unconnected between the two. Why?
Upgraded from a pixel 3xl and the transition was pretty seamless. The improvements that were made are intuitive and well thought out. Battery life is shockingly longer.
Several apps crash on startup or while in use that were stable with an S10e. The network keeps connecting to WiFi networks I've marked as forget. Bluetooth phone connectivity drops within 20 seconds of taking a call in 2019 Tacoma. Enable gabledorsch stack sometimes helps but it disables itself after Bluetooth is connected. Google assistant can't be disabled, I just need a search bar with talk to text. All in all it's simply been a pain to work with and for the first time in my life I've been considering apple.
I was shocked to learn that streaming to hearing aids does not work and no one knows if or when it will be fixed. This is an essential phone feature for me. I can not recommend this product for anyone who uses high end hearing aids
