I got my phone the week Christmas an it's been super buggy the battery gets super hot when I charge it but it only charges fully on one particular cord. I'm sick cause I like the phone I just don't think it likes me lol
Upgraded from 3 to 6 - one of the most important features to me is the fingerprint unlock since I can do it one handed without much attention. Unfortunately - this screen unlock WILL NOT WORK. I have tried multiple fingers, repeated recording of the same finger - none of which improves it. Frustrating when the Pixel 3 was SO convenient in the back. Everything else about the phone is amazing - fast - ridiculously great camera
I have gone back and forth over the last decade between Android and IOS. The Pixel 6 just works without demanding my attention or requiring me to clean up the phone from the start. So far it's been set it and forget it. Battery life has been great and gets me through the day easily. I am not a heavy cell phone user throughout the day, but I can wait to charge until the next day and then some. Also, as I am security and privacy conscience, the Pixel let's me adjust and essentially lock down the phone the way I want. This includes notifications, which are a little more freestyle out of the gate for my liking. I hate to say it, but the Pixel 6 to me is like an iPhone running stock Android. In other words, it just works and gets out of the way while holding a charge.
Since purchasing the 6, I have experienced the same issues that I have now discovered are widely reported:Poor picture quality, finger sensor does not work and lagging uploadsI used the 3 for a little more than three years and had no issues with it. Disappointed that the 6 is not as good as the older model.
The Pixel is very smart and has a ton of fancy AI features. The issue I have is that the Pixel has terrible connectivity on my network ( Verizon ).I've been without a data connection or just unable to make a call in the same locations that worked fine with my Note 10.It's a very fancy piece of AI hardware that functions terribly as a phone
