I mostly went with this phone because of the high end camera and because it will work with Google fi. I've already disabled most of the "fancy" settings because they actually make the pixel harder to use (gesture nav is great until you're using an app that requires your to drag your finger across the screen). I also listen to a lot of audio on my phone and if I'd realized this was another one of the phones without a headphone jack, I would have gone with a different phone. I have wireless earbuds, but I prefer to have a wired option at night and in case my ear buds run out of juice. Since I listen at night, I need to be able to charge and listen at the same time and that's not an option with one port. I bought an adapter that lets me charge and listen on wired headphones at the same time but it doesn't work.I like the camera. But everything else about this phone that is supposed to make it "high end" is pretty much a disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, I'd give this phone 4 stars.For use as a phone: calls are mostly clear and volume is decent. I've had occasional robotic noises and had to call the other party back but this is seldom enough where it doesn't overwhelm my experience. I once lost cellular signal (it was fine on WiFi) but a simple restart cleared it up. It was an annoyance, as I was trying to check some banking information and it was time dependent.Physically, it feels good in hand. I have both a case and glass screen protector. I haven't dropped it at all but I expect the case will do its job. I often have to make two attempts to sign in with my fingerprint. I haven't decided if I'm going to disable this option yet. I've been thinking that I'll wait for the next update and see how it does after that.I'm not as heavily into cameras as some others but the pictures I've taken have been clear and engaging. I have a lot to learn about the camera but will do plenty of experimenting. I'm glad I bought this phone.

Brand New and stupid

Just got my first pixel. Half of the time when icons appear at the top of the screen they won't drop down so you can look at them. Pretty frustrating, not impressed with this phone at all. My Motorola had no problems for years and I miss the flashlight shake feature too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would say this phone is definitely worth its price, the camera quality is amazing. Also when you consider the ability to remove objects in photos with just a simple touch of the screen, no manual editing, that's just fantastic. If you were deciding on a Samsung, an iPhone, or a Pixel I would highly recommend the Pixel 6 because you are getting so much more quality per dollar.

Nice snappy phone with excellent battery lift

I really love my Pixel 6. So far. The phone is fairly snappy seems to be working really fast, and still maintains good battery life. Life. The pictures it takes are really good but I'm still trying to figure out the quirks to get pictures the way I like. It's slightly big for my liking but works fine. I'm still learning some of the features and quirks of the phone. Was a definite upgrade for me from my S8.

Greate phone except for the fingerprint reader

Great phone for a great price. The camer is a standout feature. My only gripe is the fingerprint scanner. My old Pixel phone fingerprint scanner worked great. It was so fast

Too large

Performance is great and takes great pictures.However it's too large.I have small hands and this thing is burly.It also no longer fits in the pocket in my purse, and it doesn't fit in the pockets of my leggings.Please make models that are no bigger in size than the Pixel 4 which was the perfect size.

Great phone, bad mobile service

I love Google phones. I've been using these phones since the Nexus line. This is one of the best I've used except for one problem. The reception is horrible. Lots of dropped calls, and terrible mobile service. My wife has an iphone and we are on the same phone plan. She will have full bars in the exact same place I have no reception at all. Hopefully this can be fixed with a software update sooner than later.If it wasn't for this it would be a 5 star phone, but at the end of the day a noble device that has to rely on WiFi to work properly just isn't very useful...
