screen is terrible

i loved the phone until i dropped it and now the fingerprint reader won't work :(

A Little Different

I have read a lot of positive and negative reviews prior to purchasing the pixel 6 and nothing negative so far. The phone is a little different than your typical Android phone, but I think it is a nice change. I'm very happy with it so far. I have the pixel 6, not the pro.Some of the negative comments I read are...One review was the phone charges very slow or the power cord that comes in the box with the phone won't charge the Pixel 6. This is all BS. The phone charges fine with the cord. It also charges very well wirelessly.Another review the phone's screen flashes at times. I haven't experienced this yet. Then again, I only had the phone for two weeks.Another review the bio scan (finger print reader) doesn't function well. It functions fine. I'll admit it's not perfect, but it works 90% of the time.I would highly recommend the Pixel 6.

Awesome camera, but 2 huge problems

Freeze

When alternating through apps, or if too many apps are open the phone will freeze. Happened 3-4 times in the last week.

Not in love yet...

I hate that they moved the fingerprint scanner from the back. In addition to not being as convenient, it's less reliable as well.The size of the 6 is nice and the camera is great but so far nothing else seems like an upgrade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I Like Pixels

We had Pixel 2 XL for years and loved those phones! We upgraded because the 2XL was no longer getting Google updates... Sme of the items that I've lost are really, really missed. First, the fingerprint on the back of the phone. That was so easy! An automatic move to unlock my phone! And the fingerprint recognition on the front of the Pixel 6 is not as accurate as it should be. Second, I really miss the Live Edge feature to access my Google Assistant. Third, I hate the large format for the clock on the lock screen. I don't need that. My vision is great and I never need to surreptitiously look at my phone to see the time. I've been through every setting and every forum and there is apparently no way to change that. I would have given this rating a seven stars out of 10 but my options were 3 or 4 out of the 5... I am getting used to the phone, but that shouldn't be how you feel about your new phone. If the 2XL had been able to update to a 5G, we would have never switched phones!

Pixel 6 was upgraded from a Pixel 3. No real issues so far. I'm just enjoying the experience.
