Camera makes phone unusable

There is a glitch when using the camera that makes it freeze, act indiscriminately or it will reboot the phone. This is an ongoing, consistent issue that caused me to return my phone and buy a different brand. It is also not user friendly.
The Pixel 6 is bordering on greatness, but is held back by a few things. The fingerprint reader is not great, it takes several attempts to work. And why no face recognition?!?!? My old Moto G5 and G7 phones were vastly superior for both. The telephoto lens should have also been included.Other than that, the Pixel 6 is a great phone.
This is an average phone for the cost. Multiple issues:1. The fingerprint sensor doesn't work with the screen protector.2. The finger print sensor is not very sensitive and you need to hold your finger for at least a second before it recognizes your fingertips3. The selfie camera is not good at all. I had a Samsung a52 prior to this and it offered a far superior performance4. Phone randomly hangs sometimes and needs a hard refresh and hard reboot5. Heating is a major problem. If the phone has been put on a charger and if you try to see some videos on YouTube while the phone is being put on a charger the phone gets super hot
Comparing it with the previous pixel 3,1 and so on. Size: would prefer more of a pocket version - keep the Pro/XL larger, leave the regular version alone! Battery - huge improvement!Fingerprint reader - acceptable, slow and no recognizing rotated fingerprint.Screen - beautiful.Camera - it was good already... don't like the protrusion on the back but glad it is symmetrical.Interface - responsive but it takes time to get used to the changes.
Overall great pure Android experience with a emphasis on customizing your experience. Great animations, interface, and the best camera on any device. I traded in my galaxy s21 for this device and I am thoroughly pleased with my experience so far. Only negative has been the fingerprint reader.
I realize it's new hardware and new software but it's like the rollout strategy is, "let's throw this baby out there and see what happens". Network connectivity is way worse than my S10e. I wear Bluetooth capable hearing aids that I depend on for phone calls and media and it's like Bluetooth might as well not even be there. Useless. I am SO disappointed in Google. Like they've been doing this for a long time and my view always has been they're good at this, but I don't hold that view any longer.
