Terrible software

Barely usable as a phone currently. Awaiting January software update to fix very poor signal strength. Great hardware, but wait for updates on the sw side to make this a guaranteed purchase. 5/5 as soon as the updates roll out to fix basic issues.

Not much of an upgrade

I originally had the Pixel 3 and recently "upgraded" to the Pixel 6. Here is what I do not like so far:(1) Finger print reader is slower on the 6 vs. the 3.(2) Size is almost too big to comfortably carry in my front pocket(3) The swipe needed to see open windows and applications is a real PITA(4) At my location, as far as I can tell the 5G promise of faster data is just a marketing gimmick with no real speed increase. At this point, there is honestly on the Pixel 6 that I like better than the Pixel 3. I think I will keep this another month or 2 and if I still don't like it I will switch to an iPhone.

Within the first week of having it, without a case, I placed it on a bathroom ledge. It then slide off and cracked the screen, the case just hadn't arrived yet.

I have had every pixel phone and countless Google devices. This is the worst ever. Touch is horrible. Screen flickers. Speed is horrible. Battery on par with phones from five years ago.

No more free photo storage

Having unlimited photo storage was the main reason of me being a long time pixel user. This pixel 6 killed it for me. Also, selfo cam is just horrible.

The Pixel 6's display and camera is hard to beat, however the fingerprint scanner, extremely poor onboard speakers (my Pixel 3 sounds much better), and the pure bulk of the unit (it's heavy!), prompted me to return it until Google comes out with a lighter unit with better audio and biometrics.
