Some Basic Features Don't work that Well

I generally like this phone, but have found some basic things not working as I'd expect.1. The driving mode of the assistant malfunctions, as I can't hear prompts from the Assistant. This distracts me when I'm driving.2. Adaptive brightness dims my screen too much when I'm driving in the late afternoon, sometimes making the screen hardly visible. Guidance I've seen from Google is to adjust the brightness when this happens and the system will eventually learn. How do I do that when I'm driving though?3. Screen gestures/swiping works great, except for when I'm in Chrome and browsing, as I can't consistently swipe to go back. For what it costs, I'd expect better.
Just upgraded from my 4a5g. This is my 3rd Pixel and the best by far. Fast. Great camera. Build is solid - I do use a case and screen protector though. I would be afraid to use it without one to be honest.Have had no issues with fingerprint recognition, works great.
I've only had the phone for a few weeks. So far it's the best phone I've owned. Great camera and easy to use. I'm sure there is much more I will discover about the Pixel 6 the more I use it.
I recently upgraded to the pixel 6 from the pixel 2.The battery life got too poor and the USB port got too loose so it was becoming difficult to keep charged.Overall the 6 doesn't feel like a significant upgrade.I miss the rear fingerprint sensor on the 2, the sensor embedded in the screen for the 6 is slow and more prone to mistakes. The cameras sticking out a bit in the back snags things in your pocket, as well as collecting lint and dust in the extra edges. The cameras were supposed to be a big upgrade from the 2 but in most areas it feels about the same. The iPhone 13 and the Pixel 6 are pretty comparable in their pictures. Where apple caught up in the last 5 years, Google hasn't been able to maintain its lead.Another disappointing thing is 5g. Even with Fi it feels like 5g in most cases is worse than 4g (slower speeds and worse signal). Not the phone's fault, but just a warning to those wanting to upgrade. Also miss the back, home, and window buttons on the 2.
I would recommend this to a friend!
