The smartphone is awesome! I would have gave it 5 stars but Android 12 need to be updated to fix some bugs but with that being said I have full trust in Google when it comes to software updates!
I am still debating returning this phone. It is heavy, the fingerprint reader almost never recognizes my print and the voice to text is quite possibly the worst I've ever encountered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Preferred my pixel 3the pixel 6 fingerprint log-in does not work wellThe camera's nice, but I am not seeing any new cool features that differentiate it from my pixel 3, except that is much larger which I don't like.

I've had the worst luck with the pixel 6. It overheats, battery drains fast and it freezes often. I've had the phone for 4 days.

I do not care for the Pixel 6. Larger and more bulky that the 3. Does NOT read finger prints very well. I much prefer the Pixel 3.

I love my pixel 6. It is such an upgrade from the 3. The battery and camera are amazing. Some of the features take a little getting used to, but so happy.
Performance is smooth but overall I just don't love it and don't see major improvements over previous generations. It also comes with some pretty big downsides.Firstly, it's just too big and heavy. Even though on paper the differences to the Pixel 4a and 5a don't look huge, in practice I find it difficult to use and carry around.Secondly, the new in-screen fingerprint scanner is beyond frustratingly slow to use. Give me the old ones on the back of the phone any day. Hopefully this can be fixed in software updates - if not it'll be a major drawback. Finally, despite the much-touted 24 hour battery life I'm not seeing any significant increase over previous models. Tensor doesn't seem to be delivering the efficiencies I'd hoped for, unless power is being eaten up by the higher resolution screen.Overall it's not a bad phone for the price. But after years of Pixel phones being "almost great", even aside from the size challenges, I'd expected so much more from this latest iteration.
