I really hate this phone.The problem with new phones is the way many apps have to play catch up. Apps that worked perfectly fine on my old phone now have erratic audio and operational issues. I hate the fingerprint lock because no matter how I try to imitate my finger placement in the setup, it never works right away in actuality. I also hate the super bright light they use to read my fingerprint in the dark. I get migraines and that bright light is instant pain to my brain every time.The battery is terrible. I use my phone for deliveries and the battery runs down fast. That wouldn't be a problem if it would charge at a decent rate on a wired car charger but it doesn't. I read this takes amazing photos but I have also been disappointed in that area. I tried to take a pic of a bald eagle who was perched on top of a telephone pole right next to me and it turned out really grainy. I kept playing around with different settings and it was still crap. And the autofocus takes forever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lightning fast - Heavier than Pixel 5

Heavier phone than pixel 5. Larger too. More difficult to fit in pockets.Conversion from 5 to 6 flawless. Call quality is incredible compared to 5.Biggest complaint is the phone protective case. I wish the case was like the 5 [ open at the bottom ]. The 6 case is not open at the bottom so when you swipe up your finger gets stuck on the case. - Google, do you hear me?

Puts the Smart In Smart Phone

This phone feels like it has a brain of it's own! It's incredibly fast, witty, and useful. I've always had iphones, and whenever I tried android phones I thought they were horrible, but no longer, it actually feels like my phone, and not in the chokehold of apple everything. Using USB-C is also delightful!

When I bought the pixel 6 I thought it was going to be an upgrade over my OnePlus 7T. But it turns out this phone is the same or worse in every way except the camera.

Biometric function

The biometric access function is terrible. I have to press my thumb on the phone multiple times until it prompts me for the password.

Bigger is not better

I really prefer my Pixel 2 to this phone. The Pixel 6 is too big and I don't see improvements in the navigation just changes. I thought the Pixel 2's camera was just fine. I'm thinking about exchanging the 6 for a 5a until the 6a comes out. Bigger is not better.

Best Pixel Yet

And of course, it should be, but this is outstanding. I'll miss the rear fingerprint reader, but on net, this is a fantastic device. Android 12 feels like leap years forward and I cannot get over how awesome magic eraser is for photo editing. Amazing.

Very Solid Value

I am a previous Samsung Note user, and with the line being largely discontinued and merged into the S series, with no dedicated place for the S Pen, I decided it was time to switch things up. I took some time trying to determine if I wanted to enter the walled garden of Eden and bite the Apple, or simply stick with the latest and greatest Android has to offer. (This of course is the proverbial question.)In the end, the astounding value of the Pixel 6 won out. Overall, the value is incredible. I have had some weird quirks and growing pains with the Pixel 6. Using a non-google wall charger essentially doesn't charge the phone (so much for a universal C charger... the Samsung ones trickle charge), and I have had a couple small crashes - especially with Firefox and Chrome. Certain websites also don't render well, and I find myself going back to my tablet. Do I recommend the Pixel 6 - for sure, but as with any Android system, you may have some imperfections!
