Too big, finger print reader is garbage

I went from a pixel 4 to 6. Phone seemed too big and the finger print unlock was spotty at best. I returned it. Waiting for the new Galaxy S22 to come out or I may switch to Apple. At least they are consistent with their products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My only complaint is that I wish it had face unlock because the fingerprint reader is slow and sometimes takes few tries to recognize my fingerprint even after programming my fingerprints several times it is basically slow and cumbersome. It makes me miss my pixel 4xl because it unlock so fast and seamless with it's face unlock technology. Outside of that I think the phone is a nice upgrade. I've been a pixel user for several years and love the Google experience.
I was so disappointed that Google is taking the Apple route of selling important accessories seperately. Thankfully as a first-gen Pixel XL person I had a backup adapter while I was waiting for the new one to arrive. Pixel 6 does not hold charge nearly as much as the first Pixel XL. That is so upseting. It would take me an enormous amount of phone app usage to get the charge below 90% in ONE DAY! Now it gets to below 85% just sitting on my desk. The screen protector drama is a new level, not any brand would do. Only the select brands would allow the fingerprint unlock to work??? I have never had so much trouble setting up fingerprint unlock in a phone- even the cheap Alcatel sensor works better. Now I have to get Pixel 6 compatible screen protectors and hope the issue goes away. Thankfully the phone case is of excellent quality. That's about the only positive so far. Have not used the camera a lot, would not expect any less than the first-gen Pixel photo capabilities. Thanks!

I have had 3 Pixels now and I love these phones. My only complaint is the FingerPrint Scanner. It worked very well with my last phone and I like it much better when it was on the back of the phone.
Had P5 before this purchase. Pixel 6 is a great phone. The increased size from the P5 is better (less drops), camera/video and audio great, battery good for my usage (no gaming), Android 12, 4-5 years of automatic updates and you can set up trusted places in settings so your phone stays unlocked at home or where ever you choose. This is very handy because Pixel 6 finger print sensor is unusable most of the time. I don't think update will fix issue because it's an optical vs capacitive or infrared sensor. Still sticking with the phone due to other attributes.
Yeah it's a fine product. The only reason why I purchaced it was because my old phone had the wrong 5G to work with my new carrier. Which sucks but what are you going to do. Sighs
I love the pixel 6 it's been one of the best phones I ever have had. It's responsive and very fast. There hardly are ever any issues with lag or poor performance. The phone starts up super fast Everytime I love it!!!!!!
Pixel 6 is a awsum phone. The upgrade is out and works spot on.Play store has sum cool stuff for the phone. The 128gb storage is cool to have.I would recommend the Pixel 6 all day long.
