With all the launch issues and then the recovery issues (If you're reading this, the preceding is no mystery) the timing of my Pixel 6 trigger pull is nothing short of fortuitous.I took delivery on 1/14/22 and activated the P6 the next day. I migrated from the P2XL, seamlessly, updated within days with the January (long awaited, for most) patch and have been extremely happy with the hardware and software throughout.Of course, having been spoiled by the flawless rear fingerprint sensor, the UTS is slower, but not aggravatingly so. The battery life is amazing! Absolutely no complaints and far, far superior to the P2XL's battery life. Now, to be fair, the P2XL was my communication companion for, nigh, 4 years.Overall, based on my experience, I would not entertain any switch and feel confident this will be my trusted communication partner for at least the 5 years of expected security patches (definitely in the plus column!).
Been a very good experience. Phone works great, Android 12 is really good and overall very pleased. Had the phone for about a week. Long time android user.
I see so much potential with this phone but I'm just plagued with bugs. Between my phone going to airplane and dnd randomly. With the phone making calls on it's own and the kids finger print scanner being mah at best...why not add face unlock!! You have the camera and the software would it have been that hard to add face unlock?? Anyways, it is a lot to love about this phone but all the quirks but make it feel that this phone was nowhere ready to be out.

Fingerprint does not work only occasionally. Reboots on its own. Google home says I am not authorized. Constantly have pop ups now even when driving. It's awful and I regret this purchase stay away

Very pleased with my Pixel 6. Have not had any of the discussed issues. Solid build. Perfect size. Not too big but enough real estate to do things on screen. Responsive. Also very good value for the price.
I haven't thrown it at the wall in frustration yet

I had a pixel 4 and liked it except for the short battery life. I wasn't impressed by the 'hey google" function and often ended up yelling at my phone. This phone (with January updates) does an excellent job with voice recognition. The transcription in the recorder and translation programs works well. This is a good thing; I was working on learning Russian and now I can skip all that nonsense. This phone has all kinds of little gems and shortcuts hidden in there. If you buy one, do your self a favor and watch a 10 minute YouTube video on the subject. I got a sort of seafoam one, because that is what was available. The color has not grown on me. It reminds me of a public pool bathroom that was painted in the 90s. But whatever. And on that note, they are somewhat waterproof. Good news if you like dropping your phone in the toilet.
