Works, but not great

Traded Pixel 6 in for an S21 after 5 days. Runs hot, even after initial setup and installing all updates. Warm to the touch with simple tasks like viewing web pages. Hot when demanding more like streaming video, even with nothing running in the background. Uncomfortable to hold and drains battery unnecessarily.I use Android because I'm not a fan of the Apple user interface and customization ability. This phone seemed like it was trying to mimic an iPhone and is advertised as using AI to learn what you need. Too much interference and not enough opportunities for me to decide what I want myself. Battery life is alright, though with the increased temp, didn't last as long as my new S21, despite the Pixel battery being ~15% larger. For this price range, recommend getting an S21 or S21 FE. These run cooler and have better battery life even though the pixel has the largest battery of the 3. They also allow you to disable some of the features that make Android seem more like an iPhone.

Definitely a good deal for the price, the AI makes a lot of things possible that just sent on other phones. (Like scanning your active screen with Google lense)
There's an issue that's getting in the way of me loving this phone

This is my second pixel phone (my last one was a pixel 3) and I had really high hopes for this phone. Almost everything that I loved in my last phone is in this phone. Most of the apps work well. My biggest issue is the phone crashing when I use the camera. Half of the time when I open the camera app or when I open Snapchat, the entire phone will crash and restart! It's so inconvenient, the amount of times I was trying to get a photo and then my entire phone has to restart and the moment is missed! I need to figure out if there's something wrong with my phone, but I do know other people have also had this issue.Other than that, I really do love it. It's easy to navigate the OS, it looks good, everything works quickly. But until this issue gets fixed, I cannot recommend it. Hopefully there will be a software update that will help. Because taking photos is so important to me, I have to get rid of several stars.

This phone has so many new features that it's a bit overwhelming to think that a phone can do things that it does. With a overall appealing design, the Google pixel 6 is a amazing phone for those looking for a good looking phone that's as powerful as well as versatile and full of feature. Not to mention the camera with it's x7 zoom in.
I decided to purchase this phone because I've owned the pixel 1,2 and 3. All have been great phone and I expected the same. After receiving it and being disappeared I began reading reviews and was shocked at all the negative reviews. Unfortunately they were all true and so sadly I have to say that the pixel 6 is not for me.

After 2 weeks with the pixel 6 I have been enjoying this phone a lot and with the January update it has been performing excellent tho still a bit slow with the fingerprint sensor it has definitely improved.
I read all the reviews and compared the Pixel 6 against the OnePlus 9. I was happy with my OnePlus 6t but after 3 years it started acting up and I was having issues with the camera and other things, so it was time for a change. I wanted some quality, good pictures and the idea of several years of updates...which OnePlus was not good with. The 6t still runs quickly and has good tech but the updates and the camera were horrible. What sold me on the Pixel 6 was pure Android, years of quick updates, and a great camera and I'm happy to say all of those things are true after purchase.Things that I didn't read about in all of my research but enjoy, is the haptic feedback I feel when typing and working within Android. I've used my family's iPhone 11 and always loved how the pictures were perfect and how it responded to my touch....the response gives it a sense of quality. The phone is great and with the uncertainty of OnePlus merging with Oppo and the combined UI, I'm very happy.
I really like the Pixel series of phones. This is my second one. I upgraded to a 6 from a 3. The phone is relatively easy to use, and the features are good. The one thing I really liked with the 3, though, that the 6 doesn't have is the fingerprint unlock feature on the back of the phone. It was more convenient to have a fingerprint unlock where my finger settles when I'm picking up the phone, instead of trying to center my finger on the screen on the front. I also liked that I could have 2 fingerprints saved with the 3, so I could use the unlock feature with either hand. Just something I think would be nice to have come back with future Pixels.
