Pixel 6 review

So far my new pixel 6 is a great phone.. just like my old phone the pixel 3, just a little bit larger screen. I hope this phone last just as long as my old phone.. great features, and a very long battery life..
I would love to give the Pixel 6 a 5 star review but the most impactful aspect of the phone is the fingerprint ID. It affects me EVERY TIME I try to use my phone. It is not reading my print well and it does not read it AT ALL with a screen protector on. Once I unlock my phone, other apps respond to my print ID but the start up does not. So disappointing. I LOVED my Pixel 3. If the fingerprint was still on the back of the phone, it would be so much better. It has been a week and I am trying to stay optimistic. The camera is fantastic, the video too. Google bombed on this simple operational feature.

Good Phone so far, but the fingerprint unlock doesn't work

So far it's been an OK phone, but I'm not sure I would qualify it as a significant upgrade from my previous 3a (TBD!). I've yet to take any significant pictures with it so I still can't judge the quality of the camera. My main pain point is using the fingerprint unlock: it doesn't work! While it's still not as expensive as the other high tier phones, maybe the cheaper and more stable 5a would have been enough for my needs.

Upgraded from pixel 3 after reading positive reviews. Was surprised at how clunky the phone is. On-screen fingerprint sensor to unlock is decidedly inferior to the specialized sensor on the pixel 3. Phone is large and overweight at the top, which makes it hard to balance in one hand. Frequently reboots when camera enabled, which others online report as well. Frustrating to get a new phone and then spend 45 minutes waiting for support then have to go through the whole update / reboot into safe mode / factory reset blah blah and in the end still have a malfunctioning camera. Wish I'd gotten the 5 instead.

I haven't bought a new phone in such a long time. But I'm so glad this was the one I ended up with! I had started off with another option and was super disappointed and returned it to get the pixel 6. The camera on this thing freaking rocks and it's so easy to navigate and the system is FAST. Major upgrade and couldn't be happier. I just wish that it came with the charging block and not just the c cord
