Amazing Phone, but Fingerprint Reader is a Letdown

The camera is phenomenal, great processor, a NICE display. The only problem that I have so far is a few system UI glitches and the fingerprint scanner not working the best. Besides that, it is the best phone I have ever owned and I hope to keep it for the next five years.
Battery life is excellent, connectivity is excellent, I don't like how non-customizable Material You actually is. Lots of space in the main screen is lost due to widgets you can't remove!Front Camera is a sore downgrade from my Pixel 3. Autofocus means it's impossible to get nice, detailed selfies, without contorting your body and using mirrors to use the back camera. This is such an odd step backwards, considering the historical emphasis of Pixels as camera phones, and the emphasis of capturing authentic skin tones on Pixel 6.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best way to compare the Pixel 6 to another Pixel device is to compare the tech specs. To see the full list of tech specs, please visit: http://goo.gle/specs

As if the logistical nightmare behinds getting my phone from FedEx after they lost it wasn't bad enough, the functions of the phone (now that I have it) aren't stellar. Google really dropped the ball this phones release. I'm still waiting on a case to show up that I ordered the same day as the phone. Life however, doesn't wait for your case. So by day 3 of having it (case now 2 weeks late) it took a 2ft fall from our coffee table to our tile floor. Somehow this managed to put a chip in the corner of the glass of the screen. My fault, but would have been avoided if I had my case by now. As far as the phone's operation, numerous apps seem to have difficulty with location services. Bluetooth likes to disconnect randomly from my vehicle, requiring me to shut Bluetooth off and turn it back on again. Additionally, I'm trying to get used to the "swipe to go back" function, but it's awful. Anytime you try to swipe through pictures on various apps, it just loads the previous page.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the phone. Very delightful to use it. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is cuz of the Bluetooth issue. I wear hearing aids (Phonak Bolero M90) and the Bluetooth connection is unreliable. I took the risk to keep my phone and hope that Google will fix Bluetooth soon. My justification for keeping the phone was the live captioning call which I can still converse over the phone via a speaker at the same time. Although I would prefer to listen through my hearing aids privately. I'll change it to 5 stars once they fix the issues so don't disappoint me Google.
Fast processor, good battery but the fingerprint lock is trash. Camera is fantastic, although the front facing camera is bad in low light. All in all I'm happy with the phone. Just some things I wish were better.
Only thing that needs improvement is the fingerprint sensor. Camera is great! Wish it had a telescopic lens like the 6 pro but for the price, it is definitely the best phone out there.
I'm a disappointed long-time Pixel fan, from Nexus 6P through 4a owned them all before decamping to an iPhone last summer. The glowing reviews of the Pixel 6 made me think it was time to return to the fold. Alas, the bugginess and challenges that drove me to the Gilded Cage that is Apple may do it again. Too many Bluetooth connectivity problems, Spotify not working with my car's Android Auto, apps not behaving well. And why is it still so, so hard to just attach a photo to a text? I know, I know: the Google messaging saga. Not sure if these are Android 12 or Pixel 6 issues but Pixel/Android still feels like half-baked side projects. I so wanted to fall in love but the Other Leading Brand just worked.
