Overall impressed with the Pixel 6. Only complaint is I wish the battery lasted a little longer. I have heard the adaptive battery takes a while to l learn your habits, so we'll see if it gets better
Best camera and overall software experience. Battery life has been great for me as well. A few issues with the fingerprint scanner, but Google is working quick to fix those.
The Pixel 6 has some parts to it that should be good in the long run. At the moment, there are too many problems with fundamentals such as the finger lock is annoyingly fastidious. It takes too long simply to unlock my phone, for instance. Numerous other problems like this exist with the Pixel 6, and taken altogether, they make me regret my purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just received my Pixel 6 a few days ago and I can easily say it's the best phone I've ever had. I had a OnePlus 9 before this but wasn't very happy with it. So, I decided to change it up when the 6 came out. The speed is great and it's super intuitive. The camera is also outstanding. I would really have liked a wider selfie cam, but I can deal with this one. One. It's still looks very good. My only gripe would probably be that the charging could be faster and battery life could be better. The fingerprint reader that a lot of people have complained about doesn't seem any slower than my OnePlus 9, so I can't really complain about that. Overall, I really love this phone.
Upgraded from Pixel 3 XL due to boot looping occasionally.. funny how it always happens 3 years after a new flagship phone is released... anyways. So far so good. No major complaints. Not a big fan of the new swiping commands, ended up switching back to the legacy controls (3 buttons across the bottom). I was very unhappy with finger print scanner but as of today it was patched. So far it it is vastly improved, still not as perfect as the scanner on the back I was used to on my Pixel 3. If it continues to improve I will very happy because the unlock position is more comfortable/easier to use than the one on the back (when it works). Last complaint is software.. big huge numbers on the lock screen. Need to add an option to change it. I know this has been a big gripe and tickets have been placed for a change. Performance is good. Looks good. Camera is great. I wanted the pro but couldn't justify the cost for a camera and moderate performance gains.. definitely recommend.
Overall the phone is good...really really good. The Achilles heel is the in screen fingerprint sensor. It only works 10-15% of the time. When it does work it's slow to unlock.Fingers crossed they can fix it soon with a software update. The issue so bad that it overshadows everything else that's amazing...so much that I'm considering going back to my Pixel 2XL.Google please fix the issue quickly...I really don't feel like going back to a 3 year old phone
