Pixel 6 -- no buyer's remorse

This phone replaces my Pixel three--which until now was my favorite phone. I have a professional quality camera, and I noticed over the past year that my Pixel phone's photos were astonishingly good--especially in low light settings--so much so that I don't carry the expensive camera any more. I've read other reviewers claim the 6's photos are even better. I have no reason to doubt it. I'm a little disappointed in the incremental size creep, it's getting so large that it's a bit too much for trouser pockets. It still fits in a dress shirt breast pocket; but the phone's very likely to fall out when I bend over. I shelved it until my phone case arrived which makes it much less slippery and less likely to slide out of my pocket. I'd like to see future iterations provide a better exterior--more like leather and less like an eel. I'm still learning about it; but nothing has dampened my enthusiasm I'll update this review after I've become more comfortable using it.
Drops calls, crappy keyboard. I hate it. Charging issues. Sucks. Returning it. I guess I am old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, there are a lot of things that feel smooth compared to the 4a 5G, but there are a couple of noticeable bugs.Fingerprint is slow, screen sometimes freezes, and push notifications blacken the screen sometimes.I'm sure these things can be fixed with software updates, so I still hold high hopes for the phone.
I had it for a weekend, and returned it. In a lot of important ways it was a step backwards from my 3xl. It's bigger and thicker for the same size display. There were occasional stutters when moving around from home screen to the now page or the app drawer. The worst part by far was the finger print scanner. It was so much slower and less reliable. Last on the list the phone speakers are not as good as the 3xl. It makes YouTube videos less enjoyable. All that speaks to how good my 3xl actually is three years later, and much Google missed on this phone. I applaud the effort to try release a real flagship, but they missed on some crucial features.

I love the magic eraser feature. I don't like the finger print sensor, because it does not work very good, I have to make like 4 attempts, to unlock my cellphone. I like the Camara is good for me, it does what I need. the battery life is OK. I have the latest update as of 11/19/2021.
Phone works fast but a lot of the upgrades are not really upgrades. Fingerprint sensor is a lot slower and was more ergonomic on prior models. Also don't like the gestures used to pull up home screen and apps. Camera is nice, yet to test it out fully. Pixel buds have a high pitched whine when you use them
Nice camera.Great Battery life.Call screening is an advantage.Dictation software helps in dictating messages and emails.Huge and recommend google can consider 6.1 inch screen with same benefits.
A week in of having the phone, and I like it well enough. My biggest complaints are the finger print scanner (which is truly garbage, so I use the pin), the widgets (which are a little fussy), and the alarm clock (I came from an LG ThinQ, and the alarms were very customizable). Everything else seems to work great, calls are easy to hear, everything opens and works quickly. I care less about the fancy picture capabilities, though the camera is very nice. I'm not sure I would have paid full price for the phone, but on a trade-in deal, it kept the cost comparable to my previous costs, so I'm pretty happy with it.
