Pixel 6 needs a smaller phone

I have a Pixel 5 and the size and weight is perfect. I figured that I'd give the Pixel 6 a try because of the hype, even though it was a bit larger. After 2 days, the size and weight of it became too inconvenient to a point where I knew that I wasn't going to enjoy the phone to it's fullest. On top of that, the fingerprint reader on the screen had trouble reading my fingerprints despite many attempts at redoing them. The features, camera, and especially the price are great, but the size, weight and fingerprint reader was enough for me to return the phone. I am hoping that they will strongly consider making a 6" phone similar to the Pixel 5 next year and I will be more than happy to purchase it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worse than older models.

Would not recommend. Unlock feature with thumbprint sucks with or without a screen protector. New UX features to navigate are not intuitive or consistent.

Lack of customization

The only reason I am putting 4 instead of 5 stars is because of change to the UI. A lot and I mean a big chunk of customization options had been removed from the new android update. I feel that whoever designed the UI options either worked for Apple IOS or just wants to be more like Apple (and thus making people like me sad). I liked being able to make my phone about me, but now it's not. Aside from that I enjoy everything else and am hoping that customization will be back someday.

The Price is Right

I love this phone, and for the price range, I can ignore the issue with the fingerprint unlock. The lock is a little slow. But the phone runs insanely well and the camera is top notch. Outpaces anything in it's price range. I recommend the Pixel 6 100%.

After a week of solid use, testing out the software, camera, video and general uses. I love it. I love everything about it. It feels good in the hand, easy controls and intuitive software. I had the Pixel 2 but had made a switch, one that I regret making. The product is phenomenal and the backing is even better. Not to mention, the camera and software backing the camera is simply incredible.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Rough Around the Edges

The phone itself is oddly heavy. The balance of it feels like a weapon due to the camera hump. The battery life is the only thing I have to complain about after a week of use. The 30W charger makes the issue easy to deal with though.
