[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is outstanding and close to perfect. It’s so fun to use! The battery life has been great. The camera does offer some very nice 4k shots and does allow for a lot of customization. There is a cinema mode that allows for smoother, slow motion effects to give you more dramatic effects in your film. The Google Design Team has placed a good amount of thought into how the phone operates and reacts to touch. The OS is very user friendly and responds to everything with no lag or stutter. Overall, the phone is amazing and really enjoy using it. I couldn’t recommend it more highly and at the price, it is the phone to beat.

Useful Design - Good Battery Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a full featured smartphone made specifically for the newest version of the Android operating system. It is fast and responsive. The display is bright with excellent clarity. The face of this smartphone is nothing but screen. No buttons. The cameras are high definition and take outstanding photos and videos. The phone itself feels good in the hand. It is smooth with rounded corners and has a thoughtfully designed camera placement. The rear camera spans across the top width of the phone. In a way that allows the unit to sit at a slight incline when placed down on a tabletop. This also prevents it from wobbling when using it on a flat surface. Wireless, wi-fi, and Bluetooth connectivity is strong, fast, and consistent. NFC also works well. The battery life is very good for a smartphone of this caliber. A feature that I like is the fingerprint security. Place one of your fingers or thumbs directly on the screen to unlock the phone. I do have one complaint. The power button and volume controls are on the same side of the phone. I'll get used to it. Overall, I am pleased with this smartphone and would have no problem recommending it to family and friends.

Bad:
- The front side fingerprint reader is slow and less reliable than on Pixel 2. I could pick up the Pixel 2 and authenticate with the back side fingerprint reader by the time I had the phone in reading position, in one fluid motion. On this Pixel 6 fingerprint authentication is a very awkward, two step, two hand operation. It frustrates me every single time I pick up the device. One advantage to the new arrangement is that you can re-authenticate more easily when the phone is mounted on workout equipment
- No more back button, by default. I found this incredibly frustrating, because the swipe gesturing conflicted with app interactions. Good news is that there's a setting to restore the back button.
- I think this device is much more fragile than the Pixel 2.

In summary, Pixel 6 is a beautiful device with great technical specs. With a setting change the user interface is ok I will treat mine as a fragile instrument though, not really compatible with an active lifestyle.
Fingerprint Reader, causes frustration about 30 percent of the time.
- Battery life nothing to get excited about. It barely lasts a day under heavy use.
- Charging, need to buy a charger. Gets very warm and Speed not great
- Heavy and more dangerously, very slippery. A case is a must.
- Customization, little flexibility.
- 5G speed is not bad.

I want my pixel 5 back

The fingerprint sign on works half of the time. The sign on my old pixel 5 worked fast and every time. Big dissapointment moving to the pixel 6!Steve
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Google Pixel 6 phone for my daughter. We love it so far. It was easy to set up. It’s pretty self explanatory and easy to use. There is a ton of storage space for apps and pictures. The picture quality with the camera is amazing.

This phone is an amazing upgrade over my pixel 2 and HTC One M8. Best camera lens and software combination hands down. Fingerprint sensor is still not great, but I am hopeful they will able to resolve that issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!
