No headphone jack and no easy access flashlight. With my old Motorola you could "chop" to turn the flashlight on and shake to turn the camera on. This phone also doesn't come with a charging cube and a c-c charger...yes all phones are going to type c but the only cubes I had were USB-C...didn't even know they had C-C chargers....
As a first time pixel user I went with the Pixel 5 and loved it. Decided to try the Pixel 6 and was very disappointed. The weight, size and balance made one handed operation super uncomfortable. My other complaint is the screen brightness should be higher on a flagship phone. I would have to turn my brightness up around 75% on normal conditions. I understand that people love big phones but I am not one of them. You all should give the option of having a flagship model somewhere near the Pixel 5 size. If both models of the pixel 7 are massive like the 6, my next phone won't be a pixel. I love my Pixel 5 so hopefully Google listens and makes a smaller lighter flagship phone.
My Google pixel is making me miss my Samsung. The finger print rarely works and with no face recognition, the pixel should just have the number unlock and nothing else. The lack of photo options makes me sad. The number one issue I am having is it doesn't really connect to my Samsung watch 3. Still playing with the phone and hoping it will get better since I do prefer Google over Bixby. Oh and an annoyance that I will need to get use to is the stupid swiping to the left to go back. Every app has you swiping to the left to see pictures, but if your too close to the side you leave the page your on.
Quality build with good looks. Feels great in the hand. Fast for all task I gave it. But I have a large music CD collection. I work 12 - 14 hour days in remote areas with no cellular coverage so online music is not a option.I really wanted to keep the Pixel 6. But no media player or album art support to sort through my CD collection is a deal breaker for me. Great 5 star device in all other areas.
I am very disappointed in this product. The swiping is inconsistent. The transfer of contacts has only partially taken place. The interaction with other phones, especially the iPhone is terrible. I made a huge mistake buying this product and want a new IPhone, Sincerely Tanya Schlaht
I got this phone a week or two ago and I really like it so far. The camera is incredible! There are so many options to change the way photos look before you take the picture which is very fun to experiment with. The overall software is easy to use and customize. I had a Pixel 5 before this one and I had a Pixel 3 before that. I have been using these Google pixels for the past few years and they are my favorite phones to use. I've had iphones and androids before but I like the Pixels the best. The switch/transfer from my old phone to this one was pretty easy too, the whole process took about an hour and that is including all my apps downloading and me signing back in to most apps. I hope this review was helpful in your decision or research.
