In terms it's a pretty nice phone great software awesome texting technology! Battery was the worst did not last long at all trouble taking charges would heat up really bad, phone was glitchy several blank screens, the volume controls need to be separated and had trouble hearing the phone when ringing or notifications , I am a truck driver ran into several non-service areas with this phone and or could not load my Google maps to check traffic, I've been waiting a long time for Google to get it together as this texting software was totally out of this world I could send texts virtually hands-free, many software features I really liked and already miss I went back to my Galaxy 20 for stability reasons, if Samsung would just deal with Google and get rid of their bigsby they'd have the number one phone on the market I just don't know why Google does not share the software with such other companies, Samsung needs to get out there high horse and work with Google ,
I moved from a Pixel 4a 5G, and performance is noticably improved in every way except possibly the camera. This is simply because Google Pixel's have always produced A photos, and even with upgraded camera specs, there isn't a large difference.
I’ve been using Pixel since second generation but this year Pixel 6 blew me away with fast processor and outstanding performance Highly recommend to anyone who is Android user and those who are on fence to switch over from iOS
I've been primarily a apple user for years, and got tired of how the os ran. So I took a risk and got the 6. I'm in love with this phone. The camera is amazing, and it runs so smooth. Speakers are great and video is good also. Would highly recommend
Speaker and earpiece volume is kind of low, it is a Google phone, that has built in Google assistant, yet I see no option to be able to say, "hey Google" followed by whatever you wanted to search and the phone Google's it for you. My lg g8 thinq did that, and I don't think that was a good phone next to the likes of my Motorola droid turbo 2 I had before it. I do like how you can just touch the side of the screen to go back. Camera is pretty decent, but it's no note 20 ultra camera, you also have to enhance most pictures it takes to get them back to the quality of before it was saved.
This phone should work a lot better than it does. I already returned the Pro and got the regular 6 and I'm having some of the same issues. I can't have both the Google assistant and voice recognition on texts because of the Google app. It's weird and frustrating. I've talked to Google 3 times and they basically just told me I have to wait for an update to fix the issue. Hearing that was incredibly disappointing for how excited I was for this phone.
