doesn't seem as responsive to my touch as my Pixel 3 - and I have problems with remembering which way to swipe my screen for various results! Of course being 76 may be part of my problem! Some of my apps won't open for me, i.e., had problems getting my favorite news app to open, but finally on the 3rd day it worked. My grocery app is problematic right now - I hope it straighten's out. I'm sure it will all work out for me eventually! Haven't had a chance to try out the camera yet!
First off... don't be alarmed the first day or two when you get home and find your battery is half gone or more. The battery gets better as time goes on (be sure adaptive battery is turned on). One hickup I had was adding a card I used on my old phone for Google pay would not add to the Pixel. But after a call to support it resolved in less than 48 hours and works fine now. Apart from those thoughts...this is genuinely a very good phone with solid speakers and a bright screen even in direct sunlight. I'm really enjoying the camera which can take incredible low light pictures.
Upgraded from Pixel 3 to Pixel 6. I've had the 6 for just over a week now and I really like it.The battery rarely goes below 50%. I charge it every night on my old generic charger, it works fine. The size is main thing I would like to change. The Pixel 6 is way too big. That makes it difficult to use with one hand and hard to fit into many pockets.
I think a lot of peoples' first phone was most likely an android. Mine certainly was until I was introduced to iPhone early on. Well I love my Google Pixel, and Im glad I chose it over a Samsung or something else. However my only gripe is the fingerprint scanner.. a face ID even would be nice, and Im glad its not on the back of my phone either. As it is though, I'm not very happy with it.
After being extremely disappointed with the Galaxy S21, I was pretty hesitant to pour money in a phone again. With the media's positive reception of the Pixel 6 I figured why not give it a shot? I already love my Pixel 4a.Pixel 6 is just a breeze doing anything. It's the best of my Pixel 4a experience plus higher speed, both processing and display. Pixel products just can't be beat.
I had to RMA within a few days and the new one has some issues too. I've had every Pixel and had to RMA three of them.Camera is great but overly bright, it's like they took the old HDR algorithm and applied it here without accounting for the fact that this sensor takes in much more light.Processor is fabulous. Screen is great, though anything that uses the proximity sensor forces it to 60hz which is annoying. The phone is TOO BIG. Make a small phone please Google.Haptics are good though not as good as Pixel 4. Squeeze gesture is missed. And the price is amazing.
