Pixel 6

So far ok, but there are toooooo many features and it is difficult to find just the one way I want to do things. There is not enough verbal directions to help understand the various ways to swipe erase and move around. I am just getting used to all the changes, it will take time to feel better. I miss the arrows on the bottom of pages to move back, forward or close. It is all done by various ways to swipe up and where you place your finger on the screen. I cannot find a 'gallery' page to store recent photos. There are to many auto features that want to help you do things I do not want to do. For example I don't need a feature that automatically tells me what my best photos for the month were, nor do I need so much google assistant help giving me transcripts of phone calls when I didn't ask for them.
So far I like this Pixel 6. It is my 3rd Pixel phone. The new features I've used I like. Still getting used to some of the changes. Overall, I like the design
I have been a Google fan for many years. After owning a Pixel 3 and Pixel 5 I was excited to see the next Pixel Phone, the Pixel 6. I was initially hesitant about getting one after the initial software issues but decided to get the Pixel 6. I have not regretted getting it. I have had no problems with it. I did put on a cheap screen protector that was a problem with the fingerprint reader but once I switched to one of the approved screen protectors, the OtterBox Clearly Protected Film Screen Protector, It works perfectly fine. I am thoroughly happy with the performance, the price for what you get and battery life is good.
I've had Pixel phones for many years and this has to be one of the buggiest, most disappointing one. It got so hyped up and I guess my expectations were too high. One more of these and I'll reconsider staying with Pixels. Irritated and annoyed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I miss my fingerprint sign in on the back of the phone

I have been a Pixel user since they came out and I am generally happy with the phone. I have one major complaint that is really affecting me. When you moved the fingerprint sensor to the front of the phone it did something to its functionality. I have put several different fingers in many times and the sensor in the front can't read it. I'm guessing that it has to do with my screen protector, but that should be taken into account. And in the back I could just use my finger even if my hands were full. In the front it is much more difficult to use (tho it doesn't really matter because it doesn't work). And if it had to move, why not add facial recognition so I don't have to put my password in all the time.I also miss the button that brought up all my open tabs. It often takes quite a few swipes to get it to open.
