One Week In

One week in and very impressed. Very impressed with build quality and ergonomics. Have noticed potentially weaker reception from areas I am familiar with..Looking forward to tryout some rural areas for signal strength.

Great phone but the fingerprint reader is horrible.My Pixel 3 xl had the reader on the back. Almost always worked. These under screen readers are horrible. Other than that I really like it. Maybe Google will do an update to help alleviate this issue.

I have really been enjoying my new pixel, it really boils down to the simple things. The ease of using Google through out all of my devices and of course the camera is great.

Upgraded from the pixel 4 and couldn't be happier. Smooth consistent performance and a nice quality touch and feel. The size of the screen is perfect. Incredible camera performance as expected from Google. I've a had a few pixels and this is hands down the best one yet. A truly high end device for a great price. Plus the trade in process for my old phone was very easy. As a person who uses all of Google's services (and Google Fi) this was a must buy with Pixel Pass. I could not turn down such a good deal.

Phone is pretty good. Seems like Google is hoarding all the cool android features for the pixel. No bloat though and that's amazing.

Microphone is defective

I tried to make a cell call with my new Pixel, but the other person could barely understand me because of static on the call. I tried to call someone using VOIP with the same result. I tried to make a video from the phone but the audio is nothing but static. Otherwise, the phone works fine. The phone is being returned to Amazon.Ordered a replacement from the Google store. Got a shipment notification that the phone is being shipped using OnTrac as the shipper. The reputation of OnTrac is terrible. I know first-hand how bad they can be. I'm sure the replacement phone will be delivered late or not arrive at all. Very disappointed with Google.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
