I've only had about a week or so, I'm used to Samsung branded devices. It's going well different gestures to get used to, but overall I'm enjoying it. Camera is amazing and my family is enjoying capturing moments!

Ok, not great

Slightly too large for to hold comfortably, camera bar is obtrusive. Mobile data on att didn't work w/o a bunch of tech support. Android 12 more awkard than previous version. And while the screen looks nice applications look janky e.g. scrolling twitter jerks and lags.

Disappointed in the camera

I really am liking this phone, the battery life is excellent, the user interface is easy to maneuver and it looks and responds quite well. And while the camera takes lovely pictures in very close proximity I am very disappointed in the complete lack of ability to zoom. I’m not expecting miracles but the fact that there is literally no zoom beyond two times in this day and age is ridiculous.

Took getting use to no back button but not a big deal at all once got used to it. Only complaint I would even consider is the fingerprint scanner on screen isn't as good as the older pixels which is on the back. Switched from a 3xl and I really have enjoyed it these past few days

So frustrating

I've tried to give myself some time to get used to the "features" of this phone so I'm not just complaining about having to adjust, but there are some things that I'll never get used to. 1. Swiping left to go back is so bad. Particularly with most apps filling up the whole screen, scrolling through a horizontal list or moving a game piece from the edge of the screen frequently invokes the "back" functionality and almost never when I actually want to go back. 2. The camera crashes. I can only take pictures inside other apps and save them from there. I've done all the troubleshooting I can find online and none of it has worked. Since the improved camera is a big selling point of this model, this is unacceptable. 3. The fingerprint sensor is far, far, far less sensitive than my Pixel 3. About half the time it doesn't recognize my fingerprint and I've got my two fingers I use most often saved twice to try to get more fingerprint area recognized. I'd say more but I'm out of characters.

Very Solid Value
on November 29, 2021

I am a previous Samsung Note user, and with the line being largely discontinued and merged into the S series, with no dedicated place for the S Pen, I decided it was time to switch things up. I took some time trying to determine if I wanted to enter the walled garden of Eden and bite the Apple, or simply stick with the latest and greatest Android has to offer. (This of course is the proverbial question.)In the end, the astounding value of the Pixel 6 won out. Overall, the value is incredible. I have had some weird quirks and growing pains with the Pixel 6. Using a non-google wall charger essentially doesn't charge the phone (so much for a universal C charger... the Samsung ones trickle charge), and I have had a couple small crashes - especially with Firefox and Chrome. Certain websites also don't render well, and I find myself going back to my tablet. Do I recommend the Pixel 6 - for sure, but as with any Android system, you may have some imperfections!

And of course, it should be, but this is outstanding. I'll miss the rear fingerprint reader, but on net, this is a fantastic device. Android 12 feels like leap years forward and I cannot get over how awesome magic eraser is for photo editing. Amazing.

Bigger is not better

I really prefer my Pixel 2 to this phone. The Pixel 6 is too big and I don't see improvements in the navigation just changes. I thought the Pixel 2's camera was just fine. I'm thinking about exchanging the 6 for a 5a until the 6a comes out. Bigger is not better.
