Great phone

It's a great phone works amazing. Camera takes amazing photos that are clear as crystal. It's fast loading and does great with games.

Finger print and hanging issues

Phone having finger print login issues, it is sometimes working and sometimes not working. Also phone hanging opening multiple apps. Have to restart phone.

Modest improvement

The fingerprint biometric scan on main screen is terrible and I wish my pixel 5 wouldn't have started having so many issues after a year so I felt need to upgrade. I hope they do face scan or bring back the reverse side thumbprint scanner. I can't login to most apps with biometrics now and it makes the phone more frustrating to use. Not much else has improved significantly with the device over the pixel 5, battery life doesn't seem too great.

Good hardware, but a little buggy

I've owned Pixel phones since the original. The Pixel 6 has some nice upgrades on previous versions. Specifically I like the new camera, and generally the Android 12 experience is pretty good. Unfortunately there are also lots of small bugs that do come up that I haven't experienced on previous devices. Audible will stop playing randomly sometimes, youtube crashes when casting to another device every once in a while, and sometimes I receive texts the morning after they were sent for a few examples. Not enough to return the phone, but things that I desperately want fixed before I would consider recommending this phone to others. The fingerprint reader in screen is ok, and not as bad for me as I have heard in some other reviews. BUT, the back fingerprint reader on previous models was still much, much better. I hope it returns in future versions.

Good Value but missing some nice features

The Pixel 6 is a hardware upgrade we have been waiting for a long time on the pixel line. The screen quality and feel of the phone is great. Two of my favorite pixel features however are not present in this phone. Squeeze for assistant was something that got me using Google Assistant way more than I ever would otherwise. Having the rear fingerprint sensor to swipe down on for notifications was seamless and quick. Removing those features has made using this phone a lot more clunky as it is less usable with one hand. They created a double tap on the back to get notifications, but it doesn't work well or at all when you are using a phone case. I still like the phone, but I wish Google kept more of the features their consumers love that made them different.

Pixel 6 is Okay

Really expected much more from the Pixel 6 and it under delivered. There are several software bugs at the moment and it doesn't make it worth the price. 6 Pro would be even worse value. My sister got a 5a and that seems to be the best value phone from Google and it's the only current device I can recommend since it's cheaper, a comfortable size and pretty seamless. Also, headphone jack! The 5a also comes with a power brick. I don't understand why I need to purchase it separately for the pixel 6. It's as if they are trying to be more like Apple. I don't want an Apple and that's why I am purchasing a Pixel. So I hope they can build their own identity and innovate.

This phone drops service over and over. The modem they put in it is cheap. Google it and you will find all the issues. Do not buy

Screen quality ruins near perfect phone

I really wanted to like the Pixel 6. But the screen quality is terrible. It’s reminiscent of the Pixel 2 screen and has horrific color shift when tilting the phone the slightest bit. If Google was to improve this it would be the perfect phone especially at the price point.
