So far so good. The phone was easy to set up right out of the box. I transitioned from the 4xl so the size and weight are similar. I use a slim magnetic ring holder, which balances it out nicely as the camera bar on the back is a bit clunky. It ran warm the first couple days but that is no longer an issue. The fingerprint sensor could use some work. I have mostly given up on it. The overall sensitivity with the screen protector on, could also use a little juicing up. Overall I am happy with it. I like the Pixels and have had one from every gen but 5.
It has to much and sends tefxt messages that it recorded me , when I was only talking to my kids! and I had that turned off in settings. sometimes it just comes back to on
I decided to purchase this phone when I found myself needing to change phone carriers. Might as well go ahead and buy it if I'm going to be switching things around anyway. I knew I wanted the Pixel 6 based on the pre-release reviews I had seen about how advanced the camera is on this phone. I totally agree, it takes such clear pictures, and I love love love being able to play around with all the fun new settings like motion detection! My one complaint is I had a scare right out of the box when the camera app would force close every single time I tried to open it. After some online researching, I had to uninstall the updates to the camera app to get it to work properly. Now I'm afraid to update it again! Overall, it's a wonderfully fast phone that takes crisp, beautiful pictures. I also love how easy Google has made it to switch phones. They've thought of everything, right down to remembering the picture I use as my lock screen so I don't have to search through all my photos to find it!
I purchased the Pixel 6 to replace my Pixel 4a phone. After using the Pixel 6 for a week I put it back in the box. It is just too big, too heavy and too slippery.Google needs to make a pixel phone with the features of the pixel 6 but the size of a pixel 4A.I am probably going to sell the Pixel 6 on the secondary market.
