Had my new Google Pixel 6 for about a week now. Fast with a clear display. Takes nice pics, intuitive and easy to use. Fraction of the cost of other phones
Love the new Pixel 6! Only negative is it's very slick so you want a case. That and moving from a Pixel 2, it's much larger and takes some getting used to. All in all a great phone!
Love this phone so far so good, great for pictures at that point pixel is been great so far haven't disappointed me and better price comparison to Samsung Galaxy and the iPhone.Pixel the best so far in my opinion
Migration from Pixel 5 went smoothly. My SO upgraded from an older iPhone to Pixel 6 and had a very smooth experience as well. We are both so happy with the new phone. Camera is the big star. Some opportunities for improvement though. The fingerprint reader finally seems to be working after system updates. Not as fast as the one on the back of the P5. Taking a photo of the moon at night shows a white blob apparently due to HDR and it can't be turned off. To the eye, the moon is much brigher and a faint halo around it. Adaptive charging ONLY works with an alarm. Cannot use if no alarm is set. If an alarm is set for medicine a few hours after I awake without an alarm then the phone isn't charged. Needs to have a separate adjustment for the adaptive charging time interval or finish time. Otherwise, a great product to have!
I was excited about the release of this phone since it has been awhile since I used pixel. I really want to love the pixel, I used it for a week, the software is smart and amazing however, iPhone has such a great phone call quality with noise cancellation that’s incomparable as well as the clarity of the video (FaceTime) calls. Unfortunately, I had to return my pixel, although it’s such a smart device, it failed to do the basic job of a phone. Google, please get this right! Why is it so hard to make a phone with good quality?!! It’s been years with the same issues!! I hope the next one will be better!
New phones are weird. I was upgrading from a Pixel 3 XL, mostly due to battery issues. I don't really game on my phone, and I own a DSLR for picture taking. So, it was fun to get a new phone, but it also feels like not a huge leap forward. It runs a little faster and the camera is better. But really I just do the same things I did on my 3XL. There are some weird things. The phone was built from the most slippery materials imaginable; my phone can slide off the bedside table I thought was level. And the fingerprint reader is soooo much worse than the reader on the back in terms of speed and accuracy.I am glad I got it, I needed an upgrade. But this didn't feel life-changing, just slightly nicer.
While the Google Pixel 6 has many attractive features, including a large memory, I dislike the fact that it frequently interrupts what I try to use it for by offering unwanted recommendations and alternative features.
