Some good, but some frustration

I loved my Pixel 2 and used it into the ground. I honestly don't think the 6 even compares. The finger sensor is mind-numbingly ineffective. I've resorted to just entering my security code each time I use my phone. Really disappointed in that. Camera is OK, but not a huge improvement. Navigation on apps is more difficult than it should be. All of a sudden I'm having a hard time going "back" to previous pages on some of my apps; instead I close it entirely and reopen to navigate. Never had that problem with the Pixel 2. My Pixel Buds all of a sudden (very suspiciously) started not to work properly the day I synced them with my new Pixel 6. Low volume, can't use the controls on my ear. Good display though.
I did have the Pixel 2. But the Pixel 6 is so much better. I just got it and getting to know what it can do. But what I've seen so far it is an easy to use phone. I'm 67 years old and this phone is the best one I've had!
This review is prior to the Dec update: I've had the phone for a week now. So far, I'm loving the phone. It's a good size. The battery and the processor is good. The fingerprint slowness is not an issue at all. I do have a few concerns that I hope will be fixed soon:1) battery standby time is not great. I leave the phone off the charger at night and it usually drains by 10%. Not bad but not great. 2) calls randomly drop without warning. I'm not sure what is causing that. 3) wireless charging randomly stops. The phone will charge and then all of a sudden, it quits charging.4) camera focus. Sometimes, the camera has a hard time focusing on a still image. It's gotten better over time though. I think th next update will fix this and overall, I do recommend this phone.
The Pixel 6 is an excellent mobile phone and is working flawlessly. It takes perfect photographs and has very fast response times. The phone is a little heavier than my old phone and, due to the camera bar on the back, is a little thicker. These are my only somewhat negative issues. Nevertheless, the phone still fits into my pants pocket.
As of right now since I upgraded to this phone I haven't faced any issues, the only one was the heating up but it seems if you disable the smooth display, it doesn't heat up as much or at all. It runs smooth and solid connection/s via mobile or wifi. Links up with everything at home like it should. Just solid!
I have had very little problems with the phone. It is fast and just does what I need it to do. I use it primarily for work and it is awesome. It take great pictures! If you do not have one you are missing out.
1) It's very heavy!2) There are bugs - sometimes when you click on an app icon, it opens the list of all apps!!3) I have a DJI Mavic 3 drone, which is now not useable, as Pixel 6 doesn't allow the DJI fly android app to be downloaded on it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, a great phone. I'm finding some glitchy type situation with the keyboard not "keeping up" with typing as well as the Pixel 4 I just upgraded from. Processing, in general, seems decent but I expected it to be better than my old phone, not worse. Display is gorgeous, camera is amazing. The phone body is honestly a terrible, terrible design that I can't believe made it through R
