Nice upgrade from the pixel 5. In comparison, the screen is big and beautiful. The Android experience is smooth and the baked in AI provides a better voice typing experience. I was originally concerned about the size, but it was an easy adjustment. Battery gets down to 15% after 24 hours with 4-5 hours screen time. I'm enjoying magic eraser. I waited 4 years to remove a fence from a picture that I took at the Eiffel tower! Super cool. Thanks, Google!
The screen is amazing! I know so many of the reviewers rate it as just ok, but for the normal person who doesn't touch 100 new phones per year and is coming from an old Pixel 2, this is a HUGE upgrade and improvement. Everything about this phone is top-notch, aside from three things that aren't deal-breakers but are annoying in day to day use:1) The fingerprint reader. It's not good. Not good at all. That was one thing a absolutely loved about my Pixel 2. A dedicated reader on the back of the phone was way better to have. The reader on the Pixel 6 works (some to most of the time) but it's not easy to use.2) The battery life is not great. By the time I go to bed after a day at work, so not using it a ton, it is pretty much dead. This is perfect for now but as the battery life declines, it will need to be charged throughout the day.3) Power button volume up button to put the phone on vibrate. I know this was taken away with an Android update, but please BRING IT BACK!
Nothing but issues with this phone. I traded up from a Pixel 3 that had battery issues and am totally disappointed. Trading it in for a Samsung. Some of the issues I had in 6 days of using the brand new phone.-shuts off randomly almost daily-doesn't have cell service where I previously had no problem-people calling me get my voicemail, and text me to call them because I can't get phone calls apparently.-screen locks up and I can't pull down to look at notifications.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love Pixels and I like this one but it can be better. Sometimes I feel is a little slow compare to my previous phone Galaxy Note 10. Also, night mode for the Camera can improve. Nothing like the Pixel experience with pure stock android, but still room to improve make it faster and a better at night camera mode. Compare to my previous phone it is a little heavy.
