It's what I expected

It's an okay phone. What I expected. It's mid ranged but good for it's price. You can still do all the Android gimmicks and some Pixel exclusives as well. Camera is better than I thought. Overall the phone is nice, battery seems bad at first but you have to wait until the adaptive battery gets to know your usage rate. Most of my issues are with Android software and not the phone itself. This is a good first phone gift for someone.
The connectivity to Bluetooth sources can be a little glitchy. The thumb print reader isn't an issue, although I miss facial recognition when I don't have the ability to use the fingerprint reader (wet or dirty hands). I don't know why the focus factor on the long range was not added as a standard feature on the 6 vs the pro. I had it on the Pixel 4XL and didn't realize how much I used it till I did not have it.
Pros:The phone is fast, beautiful, runs well, sports a long battery life, takes great photos, and is overall great.Cons:The fingerprint reader is finicky. Even putting my thumb in twice didn't fully solve the problem. I also have a bug where the phone is constantly telling me I have manually locked the phone and need to put in my pin. The fingerprint unlock is disabled when this happens. Occurs 1-3 times a day on average.Overall, hopefully some of this can get fixed in a software update. Generally a great phone, but those minor things can be really annoying.
High refresh rate, Android 12 right out of the box, the best camera in any phone, what more could you want? Oh, yeah, it also costs half as much as any other flagship phone, arguably being even better than them. All-day-battery, wicked cool features that I am still discovering, one of the smartest phones on the planet. It is mind-blowing how crazy good this phone is. Highly recommend.
Everything works great. Navigating between apps and throughout the phone systems is a breeze and easy to learn. Under the hood, it has amazing hardware that makes itself very apparent. Google's interconnected capabilities between services is very convenient and helpful. Very quick and snappy with no crashes yet. My only complaint is that it doesn't have expandable internal memory. I would have liked to use the SD my old phone utilized. It's something I've done with all other previous phones, so it's sad to see it not be an option.
