I've always preferred the smaller pixels to the XL models. Before this I had a Pixel and Pixel 2 and loved them to death. I love everything about this phone except the way it feels in my hand, and that's important.I could probably get used to the extra length on the 6 if it wasn't so God awful heavy. It's nearly 1/2 a pound. I know this is kind of standard now, but perhaps they distributed the weight badly. I'm not sure but I've had it for a week and I can't use it with ease like my previous phones.Everytime I pick it up it feels like a task and when I hold it I can never get used to the weight of it or the pain it's causing in my wrists and hands after a few minutes of use.I'm trying to give it time but I'll probably end up buying a 5 and selling the 6. If Google continues this trend sadly I'll have to move to another manufacturer in the future. Which sucks cause I love the Pixel OS. :(Give us options Google!!!
I love everything about this phone. Battery is outstanding. Camera is amazing. And of course design and color ! A little too big, but getting used to it )) I'm forever Pixel fan !!
My only complaint is the fingerprint reader. Seems to work about half the time and there's much better ones out there. The battery life and camera are spectacular and those are the two most important things to me.
This is a really good phone and software is great and smooth but there are two problems. First the battery life is not terrible but hugely disappointing given how large it is and the Google tensor chip was suppose to be tuned for this. Maybe / hopefully battery life will get better with software updates and adaptive use but it's should have been great from the start. Another big problem is the underscreen fingerprint sensor is very bad compared to previous capacitive sensor and supposedly also worse than the ultrasonic sensor. The fingerprint sensor still works fine when you are deliberate about it but please Next time Google, get the ultrasonic sensor or put a capacitive sensor on the side of the phone instead. Again I want to applaud google for designing its own chip and all that and hope it continues to improve in this aspect, this is a good start but please pay attention to the weak points to make the experience better going forward
