Great, but...

But the fingerprint scanner sucks. It was much better and much more convenient on the pixel 3. Not only was it more accurate, but the placement on the pixel 3 was far more ergonomic, though that is just a personal preference I guess. Everything else is great though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unusable camera out of the box

The camera app crashes and reboots the device right from first use. Huge disappointment! Simply unacceptable!I moved from iOS to Android after much deliberation and moving back to iOS now after just a week. I tried everything I could to make this work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Favorite Phone Ever

Recently decided to switch back to android from my iphone 12 pro max and loved going back to android but my last phone left a lot to be desired. I didn't want to be in the flagship again, but I like taking pictures and having updates. The pixel solved all of those problems and for much less than the flagships do it for.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too much and not enough..

I admit...I'm a little older and I had a Pixel 2 that died on me after 7 years let's get that out there!! This one is too complicated for me...I really still can't go backwards in my screen or get to my home page and trying to read the instructions on my phone VS a owners booklet or guide just makes no sense to me. I believe I'm going to return this and go in a different direction as far as a phone. Just my thoughts as I have the phone exactly 7 days

The pixel 6 is a little larger than I'd like but manageable. Noticeably heavier than my pixel 3a I am coming from. Definitely responsive enough for me. Sadly once I added a screen protector the fingerprint reader stopped working (despite enabling higher sensitivity and reregistering my finger) which seems to be a common complaint across all the screen protectors I considered. The camera is very good with features like magic eraser that may be useful but definitely has limitations. Overall pleased with a few nitpicks
