Underwhelming for a flagship phone

1) My main pain point is the fingerprint scanner, compared to my old Pixel 3, it is slow and painful to use. Gotta constantly play thumb twister to get it into a position to unlock the phone. I would like to unlock my phone without constant trial and error.2) The gesture to show all running apps is too similar to hide all apps and is sometimes irritating to get it to work correctly. It takes too long to get the *vibrate* that indicates that you are now showing all running apps side by side.3) Sometimes when I unlock my phone I cannot drag down the notification panel. I have to lock and unlock again. I don't know what causes it, but it is annoying.4) Minor point: When I swipe up to show all apps and scroll down, a gray bar pops up on top of the screen. This was not there in Android 11 and only appeared after the Android 12 update. Regardless it is aesthetically not pleasing. If I am getting a premium product, I expect attention to detail.
Love this phone! I have been a Google fan for years and was not disappointed at all with my purchase of 2 Google Pixel 6 phones (for myself and my partner). The camera is amazing, the phone is fast, it's a good size in my hand. I like that the camera unit is easier off the back, it almost acts as a pop socket. I am still familiarizing myself with all the features this phone has to offer and am amazed at what I am finding.
The highlights for me are the build quality, Tensor and the amazing speak recognition, the camera, the look and feel of the software. Love how the color themes come together. Android 12 is great. The cons are plentiful. The fingerprint scanner is still the worst I've ever used. Video playback in the background at odd times. Confusion during screen rotation. Bluetooth connection issues on many of my devices. Smart unlock isn't constant, but it's gotten better over the years. The new forced At a Glance widget is terrible and it can't be removed. It doesn't display even half the things it says it will. It's a mandatory mess. I do wish the 6 had a smaller screen, but I'm getting used to it. It's better for reading, video, and camera, but when you just want to do something quick and easy...smaller is better.
I have been a Pixel fan since I had a Pixel 2. I love how my new phone takes beautiful pictures. The editing options are fun. I especially like the eraser feature. I also like how easy it is to use. As a Google user, I like having my phone and my Pixel Chromebook mesh. I can pull up any document, email, etc., on either and know that they work together so any info or work is saved to both. Very happy and pleased.
I pretty much love everything about this phone. The camera, Google features, aesthetic are all great and can't be found anywhere else. I do have gripes with the fingerprint sensor, lack of face unlock, lack of pro camera mode, lack of cinema mode like iPhone, and maybe some more customization options would be nice in the UI but I'm sure you guys will add those.
