Continues to have the same touch problems even after updates

I bought the Pixel 6 near the end of January 2022, after the Dec and Jan updates. Even with the updates the touch sensor and screen touch reliability continues to be a plague of nuisance. The under screen touch unlock fails more often than succeeds, probably 1 in 3 tries succeeds. The touch accuracy is horrible. You touch to select it misses, and misses, and misses, and .... frustrating.Scrolling an image or page is worse, scrolling is picked up as a left or right swipe and pages back, very frustrating. The camera is fine, but I'm not like wow, not particularly amazing. The voice recognition does seem to be very good. Voice dictation and messages work very well, better than older pixels. The user interface is good, not great, but not bad. I'm getting used to the swipes and wipes, that is, when touches are registered properly, which is still a 50/50 proposition. Overall I can not recommend this phone unless you are pixel fanboy and really need a new phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just got the phone2 weeks ago. The biggest problem has been its inability to stay connected via bluetooth to my car. It was not a problem with my pixel 3. It will simply drop off during calls or when toggling between podcasts from the media player. The rest of the issues about getting apps to work may be something I need to figure out first but the car-bluetooth issue is real. Camera and sound are good.

This phone is pretty good, cameras are stellar except the night mode seemed to be a little over rated, still pretty good though coming from a lower class Samsung. The haptic feedback is awesome, all the small features this phone offers makes this phone even greater, love the design, only real complain is how heavy the phone is and how top heavy it is especially, overall though, great phone
Couldn't be happier! Everything about this phone has proven to be exactly what I wanted, exactly what I was expecting. I can't think of anything I'd want differently.
Upgraded from the Pixel 3 to the Pixel 6. There was a learning curve for sure but well worth it. The 6 is bigger than the 3. The home button function is a little different but more efficient. Same with the "display open apps". The 6 is very fast and incredibly smooth to go between apps. Highly recommend the upgrade for pixel users. And if you use an Android the 6 won't disappoint.I have two teens that are using iPhones and they are both want to migrate to the Pixel 6. Great phone!!
Excellent phone for the price. Great screen, great camera, great features like Translate, magic eraser, and a customizable double tap on the phone back, 3 years of operating system updates and 5 years of security updates. Too many to mention them all. Latest update got rid of a lot of bugs, and I have no major issues to complain about. My only issue is the still fussy to use fingerprint scanner and no face unlock to make up for it. That's why 4 stars instead of 5. Still, highly recommended. It's going to be very difficult to find a better phone at this price point.
One of the best phones I have ever used. The Safety app can detect car crash and automatically run protocols to dial 911, take a 5 minute video and text my emergency contact with my location and battery percentage. Honestly that blew me away. I've been an adamant Samsung user for years but they're top tier devices have become so expensive. Also, I have always run Google apps on my phone so this is a nice adjustment. This is my first Pixel phone and I'm glad it's this one. So many features I can't even describe to extend your battery life and not worry about charging it 3 times a day. I actually returned an iPhone I just purchased to get this phone and I'm so glad I did. Thanks Google
