I miss the fingerprint sensor

Upgrading from my old Pixel 2 to a Pixel 6 has been great with one exception: I desperately miss the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. Everything else I'm getting used to and very much enjoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Software ruins the experience, excellent hardware

Randomly turns off, fingerprint sensor is infuriating - unless my thumb is perfectly clean it won't work, video motion stabilizing seems to not be tuned right - the video appears distorted / fuzzy when the motion stabilizer was active while filming. Software clearly didn't have enough time to bake for this hardware. Hardware is phenomenal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Phone, easy set up. Big improvement over my Nexus 5. I was waiting for a phone worth it enough to go through the hassle of upgrading.

Not so user friendly

I changed to Google for the safety/secured tool but it's been hard for me to set it up. It seemed that moved some of my apps but now I'm having a heck of a time with email/password issues.

I'm not a game player, nor a budding photo journalist. I've chosen pixel over the last 3 to 4 years simply because I use google docs, and this is the most compatible phone for work. I'm disappointed with the feature for exiting apps, specifically messages, emails and telephone calls. On pixel 2 and pixel 3, it was simply a matter of hitting the button at the bottom of the screen. Now there is a swipe only feature to do that, and often instead of exiting the app, I delete emails and messages I don't want to delete. It's bad enough where I wish I didn't purchase this phone.
