The screen is amazing and bright, the battery gets me through my day plus a little extra, 5g is always a plus, connected with all my apps and the design is one that grew on me like a wild flower. I love this phone and all that it does. The only negative is you have to be very sensitive to the type of screen protector you want to use because the wrong one will greatly impede your ability to use the under-screen fingerprint sensor. Maybe that something that could be ironed out with software or a hardware fix coming inan future phone. But it is what it is advertised to be and I'm glad I stayed in the Google family!
Given the fact that the device is already thicker than some of the mainstream products, the case from google made it even thicker. although I don't think the camera is particularly thick. I was having issues connecting to either an android or AirPods(it shows connected but I just don't hear after I adjusted the volume). it took me more than 30 mins trying to get it to work. I tried to forget, discount and power off the phone none of them worked. while I was at it, it is even played by the speaker a couple of times which is quite embarrassing.
I had Pixel 3a and it is a great phone. After 3 years I wanted to upgrade my phone to pixel 6.Since 2 weeks I am using Pixel 6. Overall good phone.Likes: -> 12 MP ultrawide camera Dis likes:--> Size, hard to keep in pocket--> Front camera hole--> It always consumes 5GB memory of 8GB. Even if we open 2 or none shows 5GB consumtion.
So far I can say the battery life is good. Wish I could customize more far as the fonts and app icons more widgets just expected more I guess. Camera is ok connecting to other devices like my watch and ear buds is not great it connects sometimes and doesn't connect seamlessly when I get messages and calls like it did I other phones I had before. I feel it's just ok. Battery life is the only major plus for me. Don't think I'll keep it solely for that reason though. My other phone was much faster better customize options and seamlessly connects but battery was not that great but I think even that being said I am probably gonna go back to my old phone
Getting used to larger size. Changed from the 5 to the 6. Phone locked up on me today while using maps. Had to restart. Maps app has been an issue since activation. I have only been using for a week so I am still getting used to the phone.
When I use talk to text and send a message it will duplicate the message and I have to delete it. It will not connect to Bluetooth or find any available devices. I wish I would have kept my pixel 3A as I had no issues with that phone and was excited about this pixel 6. If these issues could be resolved I'm sure I would love to find, but it's a little different navigating as well and not so convenient ways.
