Maybe I am just unlucky, I wanted to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy S10 and was told the Pixel was a better choice. After 3 sales people tried to transfer my info from my old phone to the Pixel and failed, I took it home and fumbled my way through it. After getting it all set up and browsing through it I thought it was great..... then I tried to take a picture. Nothing but black screen, I Googled the problem and it is one of the top problems with this model. That's not a good sign when the phone has only been out a few months.I took it back and they didn't know what to do. So I'm back to my old Galaxy S10 and not missing the Pixel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my Google Pixel 6 Pro for about a week, At this point I would trade back to my previous cell.There are no instructions. I don't know how to operate the cameras. Tutorial on line was really not helpful.

Solid phone, but not bug-free

I transitioned from a Samsung phone. The screen on the Pixel 6 Pro is bright and crisp, and may actually be space-age gorilla glass, but it feels thin and cheap. It sounds hollow if you touch it with your fingernail. This was my only real disappointment. Generally, I find the stock version of Android to be more straightforward. This is a good phone, but with some minor irritations. * Google, fix the group texting app. If I start a text with more than 1 recipient, the key board will not open unless I press the sign twice. Come on. * Also I spent way too much time trying to figure out how to set my phone call notification to vibrate only. The documentation around the controls that pop up when you press the volume keys could be better. * Don't let these things keep you from switching. The camera is awesome. Cameras with huge megapixel ratings create gargantuan pic files. This phone strikes a good balance.

High quality build. Looks great. Takes great photos. Beautiful display. Super fast phone. I had a Pixel 4 XL previously, and this phone is exactly what I was hoping for.

A really nice upgrade

I upgraded from a Google Pixel 4 XL. The quality of the build of the new Pixel 6 pro is excellent! The phone feels substantial. The responsiveness is really great. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like the curved edges on the screen. It makes swiping left to go backwards so much easier than before. I love Google's new material You experience. Picking a wallpaper and having the phone theme the icons to match the wallpaper is truly excellent!Just as important, the battery life of the new Pixel 6 pro has been terrific. As The phone has learned my usage patterns, the battery life has increased even more. I do not find myself worrying too much about the phone not having enough battery life at the end of the day. Overall, the phone is a really nice step up from my previous version and I'm pleased that I made the move.

The Pixel 6 Pro takes unmatched photos. After having the Pixel 4 XL for several years, I was ready for an upgrade and this certainly met the mark. The ease of use and speed of loading because of the processing in the pixel is amazing. The photo editing software is fun and easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
