I'm loving the phone so far. This is My 1st pixel/Nexus since the Nexus 6. Love the pure Android UI experience The features. I can't wait to use more Google products in the future.

A massive step up

Been looking for a phone similar to the "Essential Phone" that was released years ago. A stock android experience without a bunch of bloatware that I can use on any service provide and man did Google Deliver. I might be spoiled in that this is my first Pixel phone but it truly feels like a next-gen experience. Knowing others who've gotten the S21 Ultra and comparing the two? I definitely prefer the camera features with my pixel over theirs. Aside from that the UI is just infinitely better and just feels very intuitive. Took me a day to get used to the new short-cuts but now I can't imagine going back. If you're on the fence for whatever reason? Don't be. I love this phone and literally am finding excuses to go out of my way to test out features and play around with it.

Disappointing for such an expensive flagship phone

Out of the box it set itself up fine by copying over all the necessary bits from my previous P5. Then it updated it's software. Following that, the camera failed to work at all. The fix was to uninstall a Camera.app update. That is still a sore point.The fingerprint scanner fails so often that I have resorted to registering two separate fingers multiple times, as separate fingers, just to have some 50/50 chance that it will recognize.Battery life is significantly worse than the Pixel 5 and I have yet to figure out why.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Keep loosing cell connection

When I am driving around town with lots of cell towers, my pixel 6 pro keeps loosing cell connection when I have my Open VPN enabled. I am not using google VPN at the same time. Very disturbing. I am not using google vpn during these times . Never had any problems with my pixel4xl. Hopefully google comes out with a fix for this KNOWN problem.

Can't go wrong

The Pixel 6 Pro is BY FAR the best smartphone I've ever owned. First of all, you're always ahead of the pack for updates. Beyond that, the specs put this in a league of its own. At first, the battery life seemed to be in the "needs improvement" category but then I remembered that this is a Google-made device, meaning it will adapt to my habits. The camera takes stunning photos, the voice-to-text is astoundingly accurate, and it's as fluid and user-friendly as any device possibly could be. I've switched around between Samsung, LG, HTC and Google and I can honestly say that this device provides the most satisfying experience of any Android device available.

Lives up to the hype!

The thing is ginormous compared to the previous pixels I've owned, but I've gotten used to the size over time. Leaps and bounds better than the Pixel 3 I had, and it feels like Google has finally made a phone to compete with the rest of the leading brands. Feels polished and thoughtfully built to take advantage of all things google. The camera is ridiculously good, and the overall speed and functionality is top notch. Furthermore, the price point really makes it a no-brainer. Google really did it right.

I've been a fan of the Pixel line from the beginning. I've owned and used the original Pixel, the Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 4 XL and now the Pixel 6 Pro. I love the 6 Pro but it seems to have a few bugs. So far nothing too problematic, but enough to be annoying. Hubby's 6 Pro seems to freeze up for 5-10 seconds every now and then. Mine disconnects from Android Auto a lot. Mine also randomly goes into Do Not Disturb as well. Overall, I still recommend it...it's powerful, intuitive and the camera is awesome. I just wish the bugs were vetted out better before launching.
