Not Angry, Just Disappointed

(Written from the perspective of a Pixel 3 XL Owner upgrading to P6P).From the moment I opened the package the disappointment started. No power brick, just a cord? Minutes after powering on my entire hand is sweating from the heat this thing puts off. After going through the usual setup I come to experience the full extend of googles new and improved security with their behind the screen thumbprint scanner. It works maybe 30% of the time, and even when it does it's significantly slower than the old fingerprint scanner. Camera is fine, but so was the 3xl. Squeeze for assistant is gone and by default it hijacks the power button so you have to go through the notification tray...Pros:- 120hz is nice- Has google appsCons:- Expensive- Runs hot- Fingerprint scanner is slow (AND BLINDING) and you can't easily get the notification tray anymore with rear gesture.- Squeeze was removed.100% feels like a step down from the 3XL minus display, should have just gotten a Flip3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Pixel 6 pro is a definite upgrade from my Samsung S9 Plus. I love stock Android. Videos are better than the review said. The screens higher resolution is noticeable and really nice. Comparing it to a family members pixel 4a, it has a premium build That's noticeable. A true flagship. But doesn't get in the way of stock Android which is really amazing. The processor's fast and seems like it could do anything. Only downsides that I have, The fingerprint scanner is slow, it takes twice as long as the S9 plus fingerprint scanner. But better than the iPhone guys who don't have a fingersprint scanner. And the battery life could be longer. It's such a huge battery but still needs to be charged at the end of the night. I hope the slower charging battery will yield benefits in battery life at the end of use of this phone, My Samsung charge so fast, much faster but very much degraded at the end of its life.

Great phone over all, good to average battery life, could use faster charging, and it gets a little warm every now and then. Amazing camera, great UI, and great performance.And it looks AMAZING.

I had a pixel 2xl which I've enjoyed alot, but decided to upgrade to the Pixel 6 pro. Fantastic phone. Great design, and the camera can't be beat. Can't go wrong with the Pixel 6 pro. Very happy with my purchase.

I was an Android user for a long time up until a few years ago when my wife convinced me to switch to Iphone. I didn't particularly dislike the Iphone, and eventually upgraded to the 11. However; there are certain things that Apple does that just drives me BONKERS, so when I finally paid off my Iphone I decided to try out the Goole Pixel 6 Pro. I am so far above satisfied with it! It comes very bare-bones, and allows you to pick and choose your widgets and apps you want without forcing you to open up your new phone with a ton of clutter. The camera quality is UNREAL, I haven't played around too much with it, but I'm very impressed with the camera interface and how well it does with pictures AND videos. It's fast, responsive, and I use many Google products as is so this just simplifies everything even more. I've only had the phone for a short time so I will come back with updates. Extremely happy with it so far!

Pixel 6 Pro is Next Level

It's evident that Google has taken a big step forward with the Pixel 6 Pro. I traded in a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 for the P6 Pro and have noticed an increase in speed. I really appreciate the screen gestures when you need to revert to the previous screen by swiping in from either side of the display. After a few hours of getting used to it, it now seems second nature to me. The display is crisp and bright and the phone's speakers are clear and can be turned up pretty loud. Bluetooth connectivity has been rock solid. I am really interested how Google will further develop AI integration.

The pixel 6 pro has been serving me well for almost a month now and I haven't had any real issues with it that I didn't know already existed with the Android operating system.The biggest issue that I have is mostly with the big clock on the unlock screen.There is another problem that I have encountered. Sometimes when using an app where you can scroll through it's content the touchscreen doesn't respond normally and the scrolling becomes very jumpy but I haven't found an Android phone that doesn't do that every once in a while

Disappointing Battery Life Pixel 6 Pro

Loyal Pixel user since Pixel 3 - loved the Pixel 4 and by the Pixel 5G it seemed Google had a great product at a good price. The Pixel 6 Pro has been a disappointment as the battery lasts maybe 6 hours and the power management system doesn't seem to help. If I could I would go back to a previous version I would. Was very much looking forward to the new tensor processor and telephoto capability but now realize the length of the Pixel 5g battery which meant I could make through a day without worrying about charging. The display is nice but also could use the smaller size of the previous versions. For the price I would recommend other devices.
