Overheating

The phone overheats excessively and quickly under normal use with the standard settings. I had to reduce lighting and turn off the key pad vibration to reduce this problem. Second, the new features do not seem so mind blowing to warrant almost a 50% price increase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the new camera and 120hz screen. Battery life has been phenomenal. Really maximizes the android 12 too!

Camera's great, otherwise disappointing

Buy this phone for the camera: it's incredible. The phone is otherwise a downgrade from my Pixel 2 XL: The fingerprint reader is horrible, a daily reminder of a bad purchase decision. The clock on the lock screen is so annoying. Can't turn it off or change the style. REALLY? And they still haven't fixed the phone!!!! Sakes alive, that's supposed to be the main function of this device! When someone calls me, it should take over the screen.. I shouldn't have to peel back layers and rummage through notifications to answer the phone! I went from a Pixel 2 to a Pixel 6. I thought surely this would be a Hallelujah experience. If not for the camera, it's just the opposite. I can't find a single improvement in the experience of using this phone. Such a disappointment....
