Great phone - but need to fix a brightness issue

This phone is gorgeous, works well and is a wonderful upgrade from Pixel 5 - which was my favorite phone ever. Miss the traditional fingerprint reader but the on-screen one is fine. The only note is that the OLED display stays dark when playing Netflix/Prime Video, etc, in the daytime or bright light. Adjusting brightness in the app and on the phone doesn't work, nor does turning of auto-adjusting brightness. Other than that, I find it to be a wonderful phone. Hope they fix it ASAP.

Pictures quality very disapointing

Pictures come out extremely overprocessed. Pixel 4 takes significantly better pictures. I hope this is a software problem that will get resolved quickly as the new camera stack was the major selling point of this phone for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the 6 Pro! I've had Pixels for years and recommended them to friends. Pixel 4 xl was my latest before this.. They've always been solid quality and low problem devices. But this one really made me excited after receiving it. The screen looks amazing and I love the size. Maybe too large for tiny hands, but I love the extra keyboard room and larger size of everything! Great zoom and camera. Good speed and battery life. And of course always the latest Android. I've seen fingerprint sensor or curved screen mentioned as issues for some people, but those haven't bothered me at all. Love it all except a couple issues making my off-brand wireless charger line up correctly and work. Just buy it.

Love everything about the phone, this is my 4th Android phone and the first Google branded Android phone.Reading all the online reviews might scare you about battery issues and screen flares. Please don't believe any of those reviews as I can fully attest that none are true.I usually keep my phones for about 4 years, so I don't change phones until I really have to. I plan to keep my Pixel 6 PRO for 3 plus years.@ Google, here's how you can improve on the physical design: please put the power button and volume controls on different sides as I find myself constantly choosing them in error.As far as software improvements I'd wish for: please add face ID to the front camera and maybe allow me to set up an automatic restart schedule for my phone and expand the clipboard capacity (ideas for rapid future feature drops, hint)Thanks Google for a beautiful and unique design, keep up the good work please.
