The phone is okay. Not great. Not bad. Just okay.The button layout on the sides is opposite of every other Android phone I've ever owned - the lock button is ABOVE the volume up and down. This is a stupid design decision made solely to be "different". Those of us who have a dozen years of using other android phones will constantly hit lock when we mean to hit volume, and vice versa.The auto brightness adjustment is terrible. It's good outdoors, but gets WAY too dim indoors.The Google launcher is crap - it shoves their stupid search bar down your throat on your home page and is impossible to disable/remove. The day after I got the phone I had a custom launcher installed because of it.The phone hardware is pretty decent. The screen looks good, the phone is fast enough, it launches apps quickly. I haven't had any issues with apps crashing or refusing to launch... yet. (Just a weird issue with Outlook not showing E-Mail.)The camera is great. Probably the best part of the phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great but two major issues

10s of great features but 2 things that are a deal breaker for me:Fingerprint Reader sucks. I am used Backfinger Pixel 4a and prior. It saves me a lot of time. Pixel 6 Pro hampers my productivity!Second it's too heavy. Weighs (feels like) almost twice heavy vs. Pixel 4a. I can live with lower battery life but too heavy to carry in pocket several hours a day.

Great but....

Phone is wonderful and amazing except the fingerprint reader. The sheer amount of times I use the fingerprint reader makes this a strong 4 instead of a 5.
