Mostly disappointing

I upgraded from Pixel 4 XL (rather unhappy with that too).The good:-it's faster (most of the time)-nice screen-much better battery life-very good cameraThe bad:-at times it seems to lock up randomly for seconds at a time (unresponsive to screen touch) or struggling with downloading stuff when I know the Wi-Fi is super fast and strong otherwise-extremely unstable and unreliable Bluetooth connectivity-even though I opt for dark theme at all times, maps/navigation will override that
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ideal phone

The phone is snappy and fluid, the camera's are great and the battery life is pretty good. Aside of wanting a slightly smaller phone, there is really nothing else I can ask for in a phone. I have been upgrading almost annually but I think, for once, I will wait at least a couple of years given how great this phone is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone with some small drawbacks

It is my first pixel phone coming from having many Samsung phones. It's interesting seeing how different the UI even though they are both Android. It's been a very good experience but a few things. Fingerprint scanner is finiky and doesn't always work. They're is a search bar at the bottom that I can't get rid of. Also a time and date thing on the home screen I can't get rid of. Most of theses can be fixed by changing launchers but in wanted to try the pixel launcher. There is a update that improved the fingerprint sensor but still not great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thumb print almost never works on the first attempt, major problems rendering videos, intermittent wifi in a strong signal area.. the list goes on and on. I pretty much hate it and want to go back to my pixel 3 something.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing phone

I have had the pro for a little over a week. Now I understand this isn't a long time, but I absolutely love it. Very fast and responsive. Amazing photos with the camera. I do think the magic eraser is a little overstated, but it is semi functional.
