ok but not great

For one the phone itself is very slippery and hard to keep hold. Due to the edges being so little constantly my holding hand hits the screen and mess it all up. I find myself going back and forth on screens because it constantly closes on me or goes where I don't want it to navigate. I feel there is a huge learning curve from previous pixel phone. At present, not that happy with this phone maybe with time, it will grow on me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Slick phone, lots of features. I have not had any issues with my phone. I love the design and function of the phone. The display is sharp.

For the price I would expect a choice of size

I am keeping it despite the size, but it took me several days to decide if I'm even going to tolerate the huge size of the pixel 6 pro.The spec showed the size, but until I actually held it I had little idea on how big this phone is.I need the big storage size, and I want the telephoto camera, otherwise I would have returned it.For the amount people pay for a flagship phone like the pixel 6 pro, it's expected to be able to choose the size of the device.

great phone all around design and hardware but..

First and foremost pretty great phone design and hardware amazing display it's much better than what MKBHD described. Great cameras what can I say love it there was some certain throttling that was going on with the phone heating up but I think I manage my way around it I literally turned off some features that I did not need like the haptic feedback from typing, the always listening for music, if one more thing Google can improve only might be battery life on this I came up from an iPhone 12 pro Max in which I did hate the experience of a apple LOL not hate but just didn't like it. and I'm right back at home ever since I had my pixel 2 XL maybe just battery improvements will be greatly appreciated also maybe an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner I am having sometimes trouble with the optic fingerprint scanner not so often but it happens. although I am very happy with my purchase let the Google experience and hope they come up on top so what they're meant to

A great phone, but some kinks still need to be worked out early on. Looks to only be software related, which means this will continue to get better. Coming from Samsung, there are many well thought out and fully polished customization options that you don't get, but hopefully they keep meeting with Sammy to climb on top and keep the pixel line flourishing. Limited time on the cameras, but seem to be working well or one or two updates away from amazing. I need as pure of a Google/Android experience as I can find, and this fits the bill! Hoping the can continue to enhance this phone and not just create a wish list for the Pixel 7. One can only hope. Thanks, Google!

Battery is bad and lots of bugs will be returning. I expected this phone to at least be better but there's been really no updates to fix this but yet they keep shipping more out. Fingerprint scanner sucks too

Overall the phone is ok. It's snappy and responsive and has fair battery life.Downsides are the finger print reader is absolute garbage even with the firmware update that was supposed to fix it. It fails far more frequently than it succeeds. I never had these problems with the rear sensor on the Pixel 2.Also, the darn thing is *slippery*. I'm waiting for my case and in the meantime I'm afraid to take the phone out in public because it's so easy to drop.

From iphone to this bad boy

Just switched from iPhone to the Pro and I'm loving the switch. 6 Pro is snappy and fast. No lag and more freedom to do what I want with my device. The hardware design is awesome with the slight waterfall edge but still functional. Great phone. Excited for what's to come!
