Beautiful phone that TAKES FOREVER TO CHARGE

I love everything about the phone except, and it's a big except, the battery takes FOUR HOURS to fully charge. Battery life is okay, better than my Pixel 4, but with each new day, it seems to be draining slightly faster than the day before. I feel like I am tied to the charger and that is a major letdown on a phone, system, and company, that should be better than that. My daughter's iphone charges quickly and gives her much longer battery life. It's also disappointing that there are no reliable screen protectors on the market yet. I've tried three different ones and they are all crap. Either the fingerprint sensor doesn't work or the rest of the screen is slow to react. The phone should have rolled out with all necessary protection available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pixel 6 Pro from an iPhone Fan

This is hands down the best Pixel phone I have used since the Pixel 2XL. I've owned iPhones since day one. I've tried the Nexus One, the Galaxy Nexus, The Nexus 6 and a few others. Nothing had me stick around long enough to care. Until the 2XL. But the Pixel 3 was back to disappointment. Then the 6 Pro was announced. I jumped on the opportunity and it feels like home again. The Google experience is in full and true form. The Assistant and AI are still world class and the look and feel of this phone is is great (IMHO). The batter lasts all day and I'm a very heavy user. Last but certainly not least, the camera upgrades and software experience is stellar as expected. I cannot recommend this phone enough. My goal is to get my family to switch over next. In short, this phone is the phone to get if you want a stellar Google-Android experience.

Great phone - steal of a price.

Fantastic phone - very affordable for what it is and it is yet to disappoint. Any negative review is from people who are almost LOOKING for something to complain about (imo). I've wanted a pixel for YEARS, now I finally have one and I'll never go back.

The Pixel 6 Pro is a beast

This is the hardware upgrade Pixel fans have been asking for. Fast, powerful, killer camera, and much-improved battery life, the Pixel 6 Pro has been amazing in the few weeks I've owned it. The display is crisp and responsive. I dialed down the refresh rate a bit initially to conserve battery and it's still wonderful to look at. I don't usually leave multiple apps open and running in the background but it does happen on occasion. The times it has the phone hasn't slowed down or struggled with any of it. You really do need to give the adaptive battery about a week to pick up your habits. After that time had passed I really noticed a difference in the day-to-day battery life.If I had to say something negative I'd go with two things: the phone is a little tall (I think the Pixel 2 XL was the perfect size) and I do miss the rear fingerprint reader. Both of those things are personal preferences obviously.

I received my new pixel 6 pro over a week ago and so far it's been great. The one thing from previous pixel phones that i needed changed was the battery longevity and Google has done a great job with the pixel 6.

Serviceable Device

The Pixel 6 Pro is my first non-iPhone and it is perfectly serviceable. I use most Google services, so it is a natural fit. Acceptable performance and screen size, plus seamless Google with no annoying Apple - perfect!

Really good battery life and camera. Finger print reader is a little slow at times but not enough to deter me from recommending the phone. If this phone had the soli chip it would be perfect
